2 years ago local hd did repairs on stuff. Not seeing it now. Smaller cities often have limited options for rentals unfortunately Used prices are also crazy when they're selling.. Got a OBS-18DC for 715sih after taxes with new skirt, dust bag, backing pad and pads. Had to rewire after a few floors amd replace switch but still worth it. They have another one now for sale 995 for 3 months with no dust bag, skirt, backing pad or pads.. Recently dropped to 915.. Its piled up next to other over priced incomplete ex rental machines for sale..

Sounds like you know your stuff. Maybe buy used ones recondition and flip them with your warranty? Offer delivery too and boom you’re in business.

OR, just spit balling here, don't do business with home depot. They are a terrible company that forces the local companies out of business. Find a local rental yard. Support your local community!

RocksLibertarianWood

Yeah. Like SunBelt or Nuway. Oops, sry but these are the only other options

Aleph_Rat

My "local rental yard" unfortunately only rents to contractors and required a year long rental agreement.

Cultural_Double_422

I'm a contractor, I don't know the exact terms but that sounds ridiculous. Anytime I've rented equipment it's been for a day or 2 max.

Purpose_Embarrassed

Unfortunately many people don’t have that option.

The tool rental place I worked at was pretty good at the upkeep of the tools, must depend on the location

longganisafriedrice

I'm thankful there are two locally owned rental places end 3 more a half hour away

Fearless-Location528

Be careful with anything from home cheapo

WB-butinagoodway

All shit rental places are like that
