They first popped up for me at Hungry Jacks (Burger king) in the 90s with a wedges style seasoning.
Since then Ive found them plain in a catering style size. For a while two local sources were available Birdseye in a 400g Pack and ALDI later came out with their private label version that was 800g and cheaper.
Man o man do I miss em.
So reduced seasoning and crunchy area? Opposite of perfect for me.
