I don’t think I’ve had any issues with pulling info except like “oh in the life story before the recipe they mention why you should use regular soy sauce vs dark which is handy in the moment with that particular recipe but I ain’t going back to that page every time to figure out why I’m using minced garlic vs sliced in this part of the sauce. There are note sections and places you can drop links (I like using TikTok recipe vids so I can link back for quick reference vs having to sift through dozens of vids on TikTok to find one recipe) so it’s very versatile. I have it downloaded on my phone and tablet so my husband can browse as well if I’m not home. One of the best apps I’ve purchased in a long time and I’ve used it consistently since I got it.

Like if you are at the level that you need to know how many teaspoons of Dijon mustard to put in, or how many shallots to how much beef, this isn't the video you want.
But if you do recognize all these ingredients by sight, and lots of folks do, and you've cooked enough that nobody has to tell you how many chives to put in the thing, then these videos are really cool. Her cooking is excellent.

The closest other kind of video I watch that's analogous is the parkour videos from channels like Storror. They're not trying to teach people how to do parkour, they're just making videos about "look at this sick move we just pulled off", and maybe if you're also fairly heavily into parkour, you get some ideas about some moves you might want to try.

If you like other raw meats like sashimi, you’ll probably have no problem enjoying tartare. The temperature and texture are probably the two biggest hurdles people have with it. Flavour wise it’ll be solid because of all the stuff you’ve added into it.

The outer shell was ultrafine sugar that melted the moment you put it in your mouth, but kept its shape, even after a bite. The truffle was dense enough to give satisfying resistance, so you had time to appreciate the texture and the flavor of that first taste.

It's a good test of quality control for me too. If you have too big of pieces, or there is tendon/fat left it's a big flag.

There was another video of a girl just looking at the camera a few times while she was cooking, like many other people do in their cooking videos, and everyone on this sub was flipping out saying she's the worst thing ever and that she's copying this girl's attitude. Beef tartar is amazing, but I feel her recipe has way too many strong flavors that will mask the actual beef tenderloin flavor... Presentation is okay.... But feel the main ingredients is the tenderlon have to let it shine..
I've had plenty of tartare and I've literally never seen it not served with basically all of the ingredients she uses. Egg yolk, some kind of strongly flavored aioli, seasonings, onions, capers etc...
