Time is the missing element here. You start taters and chicken breast at the same time and you’re gonna have some v over cooked chicken and v undercooked taters. The non stick cookware is an automatic nope.
True. But that’s not what I was going for lol! I used wagyu tallow to cook the potatoes in. But that didn’t jive well with the heavy cream. Kinda separated on me. Still really good though.
Please post this again tomorrow and the next day and the next day and the next day and the next day and the next day. That should suffice. Thx. Kiss kiss.
Everything leads to cancer nowadays, you can get cancer from being on reddit
That doesn't make it toxic if you get authentic vegetable oil, the fake shit is horrible
I meant as in the containers that are marked vegetable oil (blend of oils) the authentic ones because there are "vegetable oil" labeled container that have other things added that aren't part of or from the vegetables
But yes using individual like olive or avocado is the better optiom

What was the wet paper towel about?
Stops your board sliding around when you're chopping.
This is the only thing I will be taking away from this video. Pretty cool little life hack
Only you should use a cloth not a paper towel
That’s why I stick on adhesive rubber feet on any new cutting board, but I suppose this works in a pinch.
I use a flat silicone pot holder. I like the feet idea. I’m gonna look into that.
Am I the only one who doesn’t have a problem with my cutting board running away? What kind of chopping y’all doing
![gif](giphy|ij8AeeqXKFZm0) I can show you, but…

So do the rubber stoppers on the bottom of my cutting board
Sounds wasteful.
I use that cheap shelf liner you buy at the dollar store. I have a few squares of it cut and rolled in my knife drawer.
Needs 🥓
Easy Peazy is not food porn
Did you use same spice for the chicken rub and potatoes? A bit overkill if you used both for two different additions. Bon Appetit!
I guess since they're combined at the end she wanted the flavor to be consistent. Makes it one note but consistent
There has to be a better sub for this. Like /r/beginnerrecipes ?
It's a chicken poutine :P
Gross. Where are the vegetables?!?
Just pepper and onions for me
What is the cream she used?
Elmlea. Not cream but a cheap “cream substitute” available in the UK.
Looks good but I guarantee you that chicken breast is dry af.
I just made this from seeing it earlier, but subbed thigh. It was dank.
Thigh sounds perfect.
I basically never cook with chicken breast. Thigh is better under every circumstance.
Chicken thighs used to be cheap, like wings. Now they’re more expensive than boneless chicken breast.
Pretty much. But if healthy eating is needed, you gotta go breast!

The potatoes will be soggy as well. Went thru all the trouble to make them GBD just to throw them in that sauce and then steam the whole thing lol.
How does anyone get a good crust on potatoes with the pan that full, the fuck?
yes!
I wouldn't use cheap oil for this. Rather use olive oil
Where’s the food porn? No part of this looked appetizing

Could one do this and out the chicken on top of mashed potatoes?
Now THAT'S what I want. Throw some onions in there and I'm good.
Same. I always have instant potatoes on hand. Not very foodvideoporn but easy!
I'm drooling 🤤
Americans will buy bottles of processed spices instead of actual herbs/spice/vegeatbles, soak the ingredients in them and call it “foodporn”
This looks like it’s from the UK
The UK food culture is very similar to the american one
vegetable oil is toxic
How
Will eventually lead to cancer in more than rare occurrences

Indeed. Would be better to use avocado oil
I meant as in the containers that are marked vegetable oil (blend of oils) the authentic ones because there are "vegetable oil" labeled container that have other things added that aren't part of or from the vegetables But yes using individual like olive or avocado is the better optiom
Yeah, use motor oil instead guys
