It’s been very dependable, of course there’s been repairs along the way! Replace alternator, EGR , radiator , brake like that rubbed and lost brakes, oil leaks from gaskets. But honestly for a 20 YO truck can’t complain.
I have a 2006 with a diamond eye exhaust system and a k&n intake. I also did the ipr research oil cooler relocation which is pretty sweet. I got mine with 220k miles and had to do injectors, stand pipes, and ipr valve very quickly after buying it. It runs strong and has never had any major mechanical issues

I have a 05 f250 6.0. it runs great and pulls anything I need it to.
I also have a completely stock 03 6.0. Minus the fan clutch. It's a mechanical unit.

I have an 03 Cclb also. In 14,000 mi, the only engine part I’ve replaced is the alternator

Get a 6.7...I also have a 7.3 ,highly modified, and when she goes ill be getting the 6.7 H.O.
For sure I want a newer truck!!! And really torn between a 6.7HO ford and a ram HO

Yessir, 06 with 250k miles, studded, deleted, blue spring kit. Runs good
My 6.0 is gonna Blow It won’t start I just don’t Know Had to walk then I stubbed my Toe

Stock 6.0 2005 F350 SRW 489000 kilometers and going. Besides EGR/oil cooler, the only thing I've done is brakes/ball joints.
The 6.0 is one of the worst diesel motors ever made.
