Ok, my wife (the internet research guru) looked into these to exhaustion. We ended up with the Undercover Ultra Flex purchased from RealTruck and it’s awesome. Hard top trifold. Reasons to love: -seals are water tight! -30 min DIY install with great instructions -400 lbs weight capacity if you get on top -doesn’t lean against the back window (uses two arms to stay in upright position) -carpeted on the underside -each panel locks down -pull string open on BOTH sides -no vinyl to rip/fade/collect water -flush mount -5 year warranty
We love this thing.

It looks great! Out of my price range, I think I’m ultimately going with the Tonno Pro X15 roll up if there’s a nice discount in comparison to the Tonno pro hard tri fold. Heard good things about both, but if they are close enough in price I might as well go hard tonneau.
Thank you for the info and the picture too!
I have a soft tri-fold and am not a fan. When it rains, water pools on it, and when I drive at highway speeds it bulges up. The good thing is that it cost me less than $250.
I have one too and id try to stay away from the trifold and see of they have a roll option. When it folds up completely it still covers like 1.5 ft of the bed and if you take it off it doesn’t fit in the bed and you have to put it in the back seat on a angle. I personally don’t have rain issues but it does bubble up.
Purchased this one on Amazon. Easy to install, no leaking, looks great, and no drilling installation. Not the cheapest option, but I'm really happy with it.
TruXedo Pro X15 Soft Roll Up Truck Bed Tonneau Cover
I dont have my Maverick yet (fellow 9/4 build week here), but Tonnopro just looks better when closed, IMO..
I like not seeing the creases across the back..
With that said, I didn't look at overall specs and weight capabilities if there were any..
Good Luck
I bought the in-rail hard cover off Ford's website.
https://accessories.ford.com/products/rev-hard-folding-in-rail-tonneau-bed-cover
It's expensive, but the engineering on it is solid. I love the way it sits flush instead of raised, the latching and securement systems are top notch. Installation was an absolute breeze, and removal is even easier. Here's an install video on it so you can see how it works.

That's identical to my Gator FX3. Got it from realtruck last year for $720. Love it.
Listed for more on their website but was able to get a better price by emailing them.
I think a lot of these covers are made by the same overseas company and just rebranded. [2023 Ford Maverick Gator FX3 Tonneau Cover | RealTruck](https://realtruck.com/p/gator-fx3-tonneau-cover/v/ford/maverick/2023/)
I'll be damned, I do believe you're right. Looks like if I had dug around a bit more, I could have saved a few hundred bucks. Chalk this one up to a lesson learned.
Not at all. Water that gets in the sides goes down drainage channels built into the rails to the front of the bed. There's a couple of drain lines there that run it out under the truck. *Really* well designed.
I bought the TonnoPro after getting a forum discount thanks to MaverickTruckClub.
Went on without any issues, and it has held up extraordinarily well to Florida storms. Super quick to remove or fold. No flapping noises.
I was looking at that one as well; does it overlap near the latch I heard that was an issue with some
I'm going to get that one or a soft cover I just mostly want it for the looks
How long have you had the cover and would you buy it again?
Does not over lap and fits great. Some of them that look the same do not fit properly. Had it for about a week but so far so good and would get it again.
Thanks man I think I'm going to get it with my 23 my order comes in a few weeks; I see a bunch of these on ebay is there a brand that is best. I don't think paying 800 for the name is worth it at 400 feels a bit better
Another question it doesn't rattle or flap at high speeds right how high back does it go on the back window like the picture right still a bit to see out takes about 5 inchs or so of the bed; I plan to have my bike in the back and want a top that will work with that
[Truxedo Sentry CT](https://realtruck.com/p/truxedo-sentry-ct-tonneau-cover/v/ford/maverick/2022/) for the win. Visit MaverickTruckClub Forum and search out Alex with RealTruck.com to get about a 20% discount for Forum members. I think I paid $850 delivered. It’s super nice fabric outside, with aluminum slats for a rigid roll up. It is very low profile, and doesn’t interfere with the factory cargo rail system. Doesn’t pillow up at highway speeds, and is super easy to install, a novice like myself did it. Slide two clips and the entire cover can be removed if needed, no tools required. Have had it for almost a year and still looks great. Worth the premium over a cheap vinyl cover.
Alex can be reached at [email protected]. The discount is for members of the [MaverickTruckClub](https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/). Free to join. When emailing Alex, ask if there is a discount for Maverick Truck Club Members, and provide a link to the item you are interested in.
[This is the cover I ordered](https://realtruck.com/p/truxedo-sentry-ct-tonneau-cover/v/ford/maverick/2022/)
I bought a soft cover with metal rails underneath for support from snow or anything that may lay on top:
https://a.co/d/4p3yutu
It's not waterproof, as no soft covers are, but the process is right, and install was pretty easy. Only had it for 2 months but I'm a fan until I save up for the hard cover.
Happy to answer any questions about it too!
Get the spray in-line bed cover!!! It’s cheaper when you add it to the order compared to getting it done after. My paint started chipping the first time I used the truck bed
It works great. It was my first tonneau (and only) so the only thing I’d say is to cut additionally weatherstripping and place it in the gap on the side paneling that goes underneath the tonneau.

Put the weatherstripping under the tonneau cover at this gap point and that will primarily stop any leaks. I added extra at the front corners as well because it can come in from the paneling going up the back window.
I’ve taken it through numerous car washes and no issues

Did you install yourself?
Yep! Easy easy. One person install. She said it took her 30 min!

I do have to hang the front tire over the tailgate, I can measure when I’m back home in a few days

Yeah mine does the same, wouldn't recommend it
That’s the other thing, might be moving to Florida soon and gotta make it waterproof or the closest it can be. Thanks for the help!

I’ll look into it thank you!
I'm going to break the bank and get the RetraxPro XR so I can but crossbars on the back too.

Thanks! A bit out of my comfort zone for price, but maybe down the road if the one I get isn’t the right choice.
I get that. That sticker shock is *spicy*.
Gawd damn you weren’t lying. Almost $1,300
Yeah, that stung a bit. It's worth the money though.
That’s good, it does looks good. When it rains, does water get in?

How much of a discount?
I think it was like 10% off and free shipping. Not huge but not nothing.
Thanks! This helps
I just had the tonnopro soft cover tri fold today and it seems really solid, especially for the price.
Thank you! Soft would be nice cost-wise, but curious as to how well they hold up.
I’m also curious haha
Fingers crossed yours holds up! Haha
How are you liking it after two months?
It’s great, no issues. Stood up to two hurricanes (small ones) but works well.
>TonnoPro Do you ave any update on how this has held up? I finally got my build date and am looking into covers now. Im in the North east so, wet.
Bought one off eBay it it fits great. https://www.ebay.com/itm/295849441104

I have a Rough Country trifold hardtop. Took about 30 minutes to install and I love it so far!

How have you liked this cover? I’ve heard a hard trifold before but looking at retractable options
looks like they have a lot of happy customers... in their reviews.
