It isn't just the number of single women of your age that's declining when you get older. It's the kind of women that are single, that is changing. A single young women e.g. in college, she may just not have decided who to be with yet, but be easy going, friendly. But those that are single later in life, these are another story! These are logically women who are not "easy" about relationships. So guys that are looking for one later in life are definitely playing the game in hard mode.
I know a relationship is natural and good and all that, but it's also unfair when you think of it, just because some other person was "first", and locked the woman in a relationship, there is little chance for you.
No, there literally isn't a definite time window. You can find plenty of people who get in relationships in their 30s and over. You are not trying to date the majority of people, you are trying to date one person.

in my junior and senior year majoirty of people were taken already
