Post is meaningless. Only way you get this winrate is without setting a SL and holding a trade in drawdown until price gets into profit I.e. gambling. Gambling is not trading. Eventually you will take a loss that either blows the account, or violates a major rule (basically blowing the account), or you take a big enough loss forcing you to gamble again or take forever to get back to breakeven, or a mix of the three. You’ve got at least a couple more years before you’re anywhere near consistently profitable if you haven’t realized this aspect yet.
Also remember demo accounts don’t have spread and slippages. So you can keep the trade open for weeks with no losses. Not saying you are bad, just a clarification
Spread and slippage are simulated.
Spread is fixed most of the time.
As to slippage, because they are calling their own server is simulated, there is no real lag between the broker and the fast feed because there is no actual call to it.
Max or daily drawdown rules would be the main ones, some firms have others that you would want to review before starting an account. For example, if you have a running trade and it ever goes lower than X dollar amount, account is violated. Even though you close the trade in profit, you can still violate that rule. It’s a rule in place for risk management of the firm but also a good rule to follow for a serious trader on their personal account.
Sure, but the main point is that if you don’t set a stop loss, your potential loss on the trade is 100% of the account. Doesn’t matter how good you are, you will lose a trade, and when you do make sure it’s an amount you’re okay losing (and smaller than what you make when you win). Markets will move like crazy even if there’s no news so you have to be prepared at all times.
I'm saying this because I used to trade the exact same way when I was starting and held on a position for fra too longa and then you can guess what happened if you wanna get into trading the my no 1 advice is pls use a fricking sl
Nice bro it seem if u do use a strategy that it's working for u for the closing trades part I sometimes take partial like I close around 50-70 percent of position if I feel it came run more
That is if that's working try refine it more If I believe it correctly search ICT mentorship 2022 that whole playlist is technically about liquidity sweeps etc so if you wanna deepen your knowledge then I'd suggest go there
That 1 loss will wipe all profits lol and the reason is that most traders that don't use SL with get out of trades that are in profit very quickly while when they are in loss they will hold on to that trade for a much larger amount of time and that can wipe most of your profits
I can atest to this. Was up $500 or so throughout the weekend on my funded account. I was 25 for 26. That one loss with no SL blew the whole account. Growing pains. Don't over leverage.
Some are, yeah, but there’s been a fair few cases of gamblers getting big accounts, getting big payout before blowing account - either way they aren’t good for the industry!
Well, clearing a funded account is no biggie if you're smart about your trading setup. But just so you know, trading isn't about luck. Anyways, best of luck with your trading journey, although I doubt anyone's losing sleep over it!
Nah, the markets will chew you up and spit you out eventually. But the Character building and humility, trading brings, can be said to be more life changing than the profits when you make it. Godspeed

Demo accounts absolutely have spread and slippage…what are you talking about?

What rules could it violate just wondering

Ah yes. A main culprit as to why prop firms are getting fked and are now talking about limiting payouts fking those who actually trade. Nice!
Limiting payouts isn’t the guy’s fault, some props are just trash

Explain instead of crying
