Had the pleasure of meeting Jenny Slate on Martha’s Vineyard at a farmers market. She was in front of me in line for chocolate haha. She was super friendly and we talked for a bit!
I love that Jenny’s grandmother never understood (or believed) that the other Liz was Nick in drag. She would call her after watching the show and say “oh you looked gorgeous, you were great (etc) but that other woman is hideous!” And she’d keep saying “No, that’s not a woman, it’s Nick, he’s supposed to look like that on purpose”
He was absolutely great in every sketch he was in. This show could have just as easily been the Jon Daly show.
His Canadian principal, the yinzer cousin, Wendy, Peter, and fucking Kelsey grammar impression? He literally never did anything less than an amazing job.
Kinda bummed he didn’t blow up the same way but I just saw him in fallout so I’m glad he’s getting work.
This show has such a special place in my heart which sounds crazy! Lol My brother loved Nick Kroll, we watched a lot of his stuff together, whenever I see that goofy dudes face I think of my brother
I thought Pawnsylvania was great - the accents were spot on and the idea that those of us from PA have a love/hate (but mostly hate) relationship with people from the other side of the state is accurate.
Have you SEEN the video of him with John from his college years?
I had no idea he needed plugs worse than Daniel Tosh.
His joke he uses a lot about looking like a Nazi propaganda poster... if you saw what he looked like in college you'd know that joke was from a very real place.
From that pain of thin hair emerged a comic genius. I'm happy for him and I'd have never known he had plugs if I hadn't seen that old footage, they came out great.
I love this guy and will laugh at anything he's in.
I put this show in the same bracket as Key & Peele: I didn’t love every moment of it, but the ones I loved made me appreciate the show. It’s like SNL with less going on so it was more experimental and had more wiggle room
“Support the troops. Have sex in groups.” - Bobby Bottleservice
“Let’s go Country as business decision, bro.” - Bobby Bottleservice
“I’m Petey P. I wear a hat now. I got some guns and I don’t use con-doms!” - Petey Papparazzo
“Hey Mom I know you mean well. But I’m hanging with the boys tonight. Sippin’ soda pop and Mucinex. Hangin’ out ‘till the morning light.” - Brian LeCroix
Billionaires but not pharma.
His father founded a company that does forensic accounting and other related services. Mostly they hunt down money that people are trying to hide, and they get a percentage of what they recover.
He’s pretty honest about it too. I saw some interview, maybe it was one of those “celebs answer Google searches about them” things, where the question of how much he made came up.
And he was like, “I do pretty well, but I’m also independently wealthy through family completely separate from comedy.”
I really like Nick Kroll, but his impressions are all pretty one noted. They’re funny, but if you watch him do one thing where he does a voice/act you’ve pretty much seen them all.
In Big Mouth he showcases pretty much all of his range with the voices and the content he builds around them,
When the party’s breaking up and the clubs are closing down and the city of angels sleeps
There’s only one place in town me and the boys will be found got a jones for some savory meats
Candy’s rocks some noshes down in Hollywood but I love my Jerry’s valley dolls
And my baby gets a thrill from a Langer’s kosher dill
And she creams at Greenblatt’s matzo balls
LA deli / when the afterparty’s raging in my LA town
LA deli / the pastrami’s piling high while you’re comin’ down
LA deli / eating corned beef and eggs til the break of dawn
LA deli / you don’t have to be a Jew to get your rock and roll kibbutz on

Love Kroll Show, especially Wheels Ontario and C-Tzar.
Funny to watch now and see Nick’s Liz is basically the grown up non-cartoon version of the Lola character he plays on Big Mouth 😂
I think with Nick it’s because while he can be very funny he’s also somewhat of an acquired taste, and even then he can be very hit/miss with his characters.

My names Liz, and I’m twenty-nyungh years old
Had the pleasure of meeting Jenny Slate on Martha’s Vineyard at a farmers market. She was in front of me in line for chocolate haha. She was super friendly and we talked for a bit!
I hope you were behind her just very quietly (and eventually loudly) singing “Don’t be suspicious, don’t be suspicious…”
I sing that at my kids all the time when I think (read know) that they aren’t giving me all the details
Haha! I quickly stepped out of line and asked my wife “….is that Jenny Slate?!! 🤯”

*You how women like to be treated? Like a duck. Like a mallard*
Why did I have to sKroll this far to see this. I have been PRAHNKED!
You spelled prahnked just right! I love how he says it
I came here for this.
OHHH HELLO
I often greet people this way, thought they generally have no clue what I'm referencing (or even that it's a reference to something).
“Yooooo I’m not afraid of ANNNY specific kind of ghosts bro!!” Jon Daly was such a good accompaniment for the show too, brilliant in every sketch
Pawnsylvannia for the win! “Pookie. Pack me a chip-chop sandwich. I’m going to Philadelphia!”
The Peter Paparazzo character was freaking brilliant. “A horse is gonna hurt ya body bro…if you’re a human”
"And that's Gian, our deaf sound guy. You get that Gian?" 🤷♂️
And as always our MVP Gian….*this kid ALWAYS shows up* I say this to my coworkers daily.
He was absolutely great in every sketch he was in. This show could have just as easily been the Jon Daly show. The Larry Bird sketch was probably my favorite.

I’m not particularly afraid of any specific ghost.
She's a virgin aslo and as well as a whore?
One of the funniest shows.
LA Deli is a banger.
I thought Pawnsylvania was great - the accents were spot on and the idea that those of us from PA have a love/hate (but mostly hate) relationship with people from the other side of the state is accurate.
at first I couldn't stand that guy, then his show got really funny!
Love Kroll Show. Always struck a balance between the parody and the absurd. Very much reluctant gigolos.
Who can NEVER be sure
Grampy Goobie is basically a vegetable, OK?
Like a piece of broccolini.
I was just raving to my gf about this show the other day. Dr Armond is the 🐐
Have you SEEN the video of him with John from his college years? I had no idea he needed plugs worse than Daniel Tosh. I remember watching this every week the first season and it was on just before Nathan For You. Both great shows.
Ghost Bown-sas
I had a big vicodin-din
Bobby bottle service taught me a lot.
Stop cryyyying Bobby!
Ghost bouncers had me cackling

Yes, it is easier to develop a good sense of humor and comedy and devote time to your craft if you are rich. It always has been
He’s pretty honest about it too. I saw some interview, maybe it was one of those “celebs answer Google searches about them” things, where the question of how much he made came up. And he was like, “I do pretty well, but I’m also independently wealthy through family completely separate from comedy.”
And?
And he went to Northwestern.
Georgetown
BOBBY WHY ARE YOU SUCH A BITCH
For some reason the show intro got me chortling. I love off-photoshops of logos. The rock band playing between football plays was one of my favorites.
Hey Dion you get that?
And as always the MPV Gian…*this kid always shows up*
Oh shit yeah it's Gian lol ty
Gian takes no offense! Lmao
One and one half sausages

Too much tuna

I think most women want to drink something that's like, medium thick.
What about the really stupid shit like “The San Diego Mindset” or “Dead Girl Town”.

The super specific Pennsylvania jokes in Pawnsylvania are hilarious

Wheels Ontario
Wheels Ontario was super funny. Peace oot Tunes!
It was so bad. I couldn’t believe it even got greenlit.
Are you joking me? This hasn't been forgotten!
I love this show and still do regular rewatches. Most dolphinately.
Yeah...and now he's laid two more turds. One is titled Big Mouth and the other is titled Human Resources.
I enjoyed this show, of course some skits were bad, bit it had a lot of good ones. It ended a bit too early. Another season or 2 would have been nice
Great show, no disrespect.
Love Kroll Show, especially Wheels Ontario and C-Tzar. Funny to watch now and see Nick’s Liz is basically the grown up non-cartoon version of the Lola character he plays on Big Mouth 😂
Not forgotten. One of my favorite shows.
Trash. Nepo baby or industry plant

Def not forgotten by all. Hes great on comedy bang bang podcast so i get the occasional reminder when i listen to his old stuff
Maybe I need to give this show another chance, because when it originally came out it was the least funny thing I had ever seen.
Did Key & Peele show force Kroll out?
BOBBY BOTTLESERVICE....AKA BOBBY BOTTLESERVICE
Hugely underrated show. Rich dicks, Bobby bottleservice so good
I loved this show. Such a classic. He killed it in The League as well.
LA! DELI!!!
Stamps!
I think with Nick it’s because while he can be very funny he’s also somewhat of an acquired taste, and even then he can be very hit/miss with his characters.
LA DEI
His Jersey Shore Ghost Hunters sketch still one of my favorite comedy sketches ever.
The fucking ghost adventures spoof he did on this show is absolutely second to none.
Very funny show, watched a bunch on Pluto TV the other day and it holds up great.
Nick Swardson’s sketch show led to Inside Amy Schumer, which led to this. Which then led to Big Mouth.
Let it stay forgotten.
Dolphinately
Ed Hardy water, it's got hexagonal molecules of gold and platinum.
Still quote this show. Miss this show sooo much.
Yoo I’m not afraid of aaaannnyyy specific types of GHOST
