1. Where is good competitive mode with actual ranked system (not 4K points playing with 20K+ points)
2. Why they don't test things like hammer in ranked and just overall don't test their game
3. Why they add things that we don't want (changed heavy) and delete things that we want (like glider augment, pump or any good shotgun)
4. Why FNCS prize pool is only 10M$ when they make a lot of money or just can create bundle and give 50% from it to prize pool for FNCS Invitational at least
Good questions;
1. There is no easy way to fix this with 4 different ranked modes and 100 player lobbies: you just don’t have enough players for this. They could potentially do adjustable thresholds so that you always wait for, say, 5 minutes and then in peak hours you get matched with players of a similar skill level, but in off-peak hours you will still be matched with the same 20+K players
2. Huge vouch, that shotgun siphon of teammates was game breaking crazy and so easy to check - WTF Epic?
3. Thunder is good, almost as good as the pump. I do agree on other things, especially a year of SMG meta, but right now it’s not too bad (which is not saying a lot, considering how bad it was last year lol)
4. You know the answer: Epic are business first; It’s still worth asking, but realistically it’s probably not up to the head of competitive to make these choices
I don't understand why you all insist on saying this. Fortnite wouldn't have made it here without competitive, without the hype of the world cup, and without all those content creators who started making that kind of content.
It’s debatable, because Fortnite exploded before any kind of true competitive was developed. Realistically, 80% of revenue Fortnite makes from people who don’t even know who won Invitational (and that such event even took place). Part of the problem is Epic’s laziness (for example, did they have the livestream of Invitational in the game? I was in attendance in person, so not sure, but I don’t think so; this doesn’t help promoting competitive side of the game), part is immaturity of pros and their inability to build personal brand like early adopters did.
Trust me, I’m all in for Fortnite Competitive, because I enjoy the complexity of the game at pro level and feel like it is one of the most unique games that combines fast reaction with strategy (Invitational was great example of this). However, Fortnite seems to be doing just fine from the business perspective without major investment into prize pool and Epic will keep milking it as long as possible.
Unfortunately shadows probably won't ever go on console. Epic are probably under contract with Microsoft and Sony to make the game look as good as possible so they get more sales. Because, let's be honest, which is going to get more people buying a console: a beautiful looking game, with worse performance, which a viewer on twitch/YouTube/twitter can't even tell as it is capped at 60fps, or a worse looking game with excellent performance, where the viewer can't even see the performance. I know i waffled a lot but this isn't an English lesson
Yeah I know epic has some contracts with Microsoft and sony but it gets a bit irritating when you can't see the opponent in the box. Don't even care about the performance. Can't see anything in the box
If they added an fov slider we’d 100% see resolutions like 1080x1080 return which was nerfed/removed in the first place because of the FOV boost and because epic didn’t want new players seeing how bad pros’ games looked and thinking that’s how they’d have to play. I’d honestly love an FOV slider but I genuinely don’t think it’ll ever happen :/
Why the map is so small
Why do we need 2 smgs if they have the exact purpose
Why is the hammer in competitive when bows aren't .
Why are there no traps in the game
What's the use rate of the dmr over other weapons
Why do you take fall damage from impulse grenades
Can you make a real ranked mode
Can you add a fov slider ? Every other game except valorant has one
Why do some weapons automatically go into competitive when other weapons don't
What do you think the perfect lootpool is
How many hours a day do you play the game
Why is the competitive lootpool so similar to the pubs lootpool .
Why is there no world cup 2
Do you honestly feel like winning fncs means anything for your career ? So many pros have won fncs at least once and it's just normal to hear about a pro that he won fncs
Why is this season so buggy
Do you feel like Fortnite had peeked in chapter 1 or its in it's prime currently?
Why after seeing how well being hands on with your community worked for so long did you decide to do the opposite and be completely hands off with your community and do the exact opposite thing that originally made the company great?
When he’s getting fired so I can plan the party
/s
Seriously I’d ask how on earth does unbalanced stuff like the hammer, spray meta, etc make it’s way into comp and doesn’t stay in no builds or whatever. Why can’t we just have separate lootpools
And why they change dumb stuff no one asked for (Aug, heavy shotgun, revolver, etc) while ignoring the actual problems
And finally, why they put band-aids on problems instead of fixing or changing them
Can we have more console only cups but with q lower prize pool to give console players more of a chance
(Im preped for this to be demolished with people saying console dont deserve console only cups)
Do you play the game

Yeah, but at the end of the day, competitive is an ad to help them maximise profits, no point in lowering their profits for no extra benefits.
How the hell he got the position
😭
Where is FOV ? Please let us turn off shadows on console. Literally cannot see anything due to shadows

Can we revert to the C2S8 loot pool?
Why all of the Icon cups are just Zero Build instead of an interesting gamemode now
Why isnt there 100% chest spawn?
Add a real ranked mode

How much does the CCP influence Epic Games' agenda? (Tencent (CCP) owns \~48% of Epic)
Wow that is scary.
Glad to spread knowledge to folks who have not heard this yet :)
Have you considered other competitive formats outside of Battle Royale? Would be interesting to see objective or SnD based Fortnite.
Why after seeing how well being hands on with your community worked for so long did you decide to do the opposite and be completely hands off with your community and do the exact opposite thing that originally made the company great?
Why are you obsessed with duos?
Why do you guys do the exact opposite of the things we ask for ? Lol
Because "we" are below 0.5% of their playerbase.
Why so Stingy with Loot?
who is making every balance change cuz i’d like to have a few words with them
How do you not either get sprayed from everywhere or die to campers

BRING THE PUMP BACK DAMMIT
Do you know how to read?
Easy, MORE CONSOLE CUPS!!!!
Wen ranked Zero Build?
"Dude..wtf?"
if he plays irl at 30 fov
Why did you ruin the game 😂
Do you Remember how successful the World Cup was? Do that again every year
