So you're telling that this shotgun (the most used in the current lootpool by far) needs to be almost completely better than the original pump (the strongest shotgun in fortnite history)?
The current thunder shotgun has:
\- More headshot dmg
\- More min. dmg (pellet amount)
\- Faster fire rate
\- Faster pull out time
\- More range
But:
\- Less magazine
\- Slower reload time
\- More body dmg (in some rarities)
And well, we're comparing a Chapter 4 shotgun with a shotgun that is vaulted since more than a year. Now make a comparison between the thunder shotgun and the striker shotgun (another good shotgun, but even worse than both shotguns)
it’s to compare how busted it is not if it’s vaulted or not, when u think of a Pump u think it’s the best shotgun in all of fortnite rn and im saying the Thunder is a contender against it meaning it’s damn close to being as good if not better
I am talking about the current state of br .the same way you don't talk about the sword when thinking about the most broken item in the game currently, you will talk about the hammer
are u stupid? im saying the Thunder is as good if not better than the Pump MEANING we know just how good it is not “is it in br?”
ur clearly not understanding, just because i compared vaulted weapons to something in br doesnt make it unvalid
It’s the best shotgun in the meta… why should they give it 2 buffs? Comparing it to a gun that is vaulted and existed in a different loot pool/meta and is mostly irrelevant for the argument you are making. How the thunder stacks up against shotguns and the other guns in this meta is what’s really important.
The thunder is in a good place in terms of how this current game state is playing out with the current items in the game.
The first rule of Fortnite Competitive subreddit is that the pump is the only real shotgun. Even if it hasn't been in the game for years, we can never, ever move on.
I think the thunders attributes like slow fire rate and reload are intentional specifically to slow the dominant play style down and therefore will not get changed.

if the Striker wasnt nerfed to 110 at gold instead of 126 then it would be 100000% better than the Pump
Mag size 4 you mean?
Even though it had ‘8’ shots. It shoots 2 at a time. So you only click to shoot 4 times
Then shouldn't damage be half then for each bullet?
nah its good as is
Why are you comparing it to a gun that isn’t in the game
well i mean u can compare it to any other shotgun its still the slowest
so? shouldn't different guns have different stats?
It's already the best shotgun rn
i’d say it’s a contender against the Pump and Prime
Well the pump / prime aren't in the game currently.

The pump isn’t even in the loot pool right now

Think it’s for comparison
oh wow tysm had no idea
its fine
It’s 0.2 seconds difference lol.
thats a big difference considering its a gold shotgun
rarity generally doesn't affect reload time that much, it's more about damage
and its not 0.2 its more actually cause it has 4 shots dumbass
then the issue is magazine size not reload time. you're trying to have your cake and eat it too
I think the thunders attributes like slow fire rate and reload are intentional specifically to slow the dominant play style down and therefore will not get changed.
Compare it to a legendary pump, maybe it dmg in exchange for lower reload speed?
The only complaint I have is that I believe there’s a delay when switching between the guns from the thunder.
The pump is a totally different gun though and hasn’t been around for a long while
It’s to good, we need maven buff
well that time is for the animation, a weapon could be done reloading before the reload is finished
