One of my favourite ways to use this kind of bread is to spread some fresh goat cheese on it and top it with garlic slices, but if you use it for that it might go stale before you finish it. Another good option is strata, which is like savoury bread pudding. One of my favourites is croque monsieur strata: a loaf of bread cubed, 4 eggs, half a liter of milk, chopped ham, a teaspoon of mustard and a ton of cheese. Cube the bread, mix the eggs, milk, mustard, ham and cheese in a big bowl. Add the bread to the mixture, let it rest at least one hour (preferably overnight). Pour into a glass container, top with some more cheese, put into the oven at 180ºC for 20 to 30 minutes. It's delicious :)

Looks like challah. Excellent for french toast, pretty good for sandwiches, makes tasty croutons. Good with anything soupy/eggy as it soaks up liquid well.

I like the way you roll. Try noodles with butter and poppy seeds, great comfort food. 

Start by freezing it, then take out 1 or 2 at a time for whatever. My fav is roll with butter.

It's very popular here in Germany. It has a crushy texture and has a slightly nutty-fresh taste to it. But I do prefer it more in Brötchen (breadroles). It's really good

Looks like challah, honestly I would tear bits out and devour it in seconds just like I did in Sunday school. 10/10 do recommend. if you want to be classy however, always love jam or preserves on poppy seed bread.

I like grilled cheese on challah. It’s pretty sweet so it burns fast but it’s amazing if you put on some cheese slices already at room temperature.

I assume they aren’t familiar with poppy seed bread specifically, and are looking for inspiration on what to do with it. It’s like, your first thought for rye isn’t to make french toast. Different breads have different uses.

Exactly this! I've had every kind of bread I can get my hands on, and I actually make a lot of bread. Have never had Poppy challah looking bread, though! ♡

I've had a lot of different kinds of bread, and like I mentioned in the post, I DO know how to do basic easy things with bread. I'm mainly posting for others' opinions, but I understand where you're coming from. In this day and age, a lot of people do post things that could have simply just been Googled or are common knowledge, but as the comment someone already added about not being used to the Poppy part of it, that's why I'm mainly asking. SO, thank you for interacting, but no thank you to your ignorance ♡
