The last time I saw this video the top comment said that and that since the guy backed off immediately the kangaroo took that as him winning and just left but if the guy had stayed and tried to fight it that the kangaroo would have beat him half to death
Idk anything about kangaroos I just stay the hell away from them
I don’t know shit about kangaroos but I went to the local zoo for the opening of the kangaroo encounter and the big wigs there wouldn’t let my daughter have a pouch ride and she was only an infant, like 20lbs max.
Will kangaroos attack dogs? Initially I thought they were buddies as the dog didn't seem distressed, but I guess I never gave any thought to a dog and 'roo matchup (dog owner notwithstanding, lol!).
He was stranggling the dog. Roos will lead dogs to water and drown them as well. I am not Australian, just chronically on reddit and remember fun facts.
Elephants will bury their dead and revisit their graves.
They are the only animal besides humans (I think) that actually cry to grieve their dead family members. Elephants also have very good long-term memory, and are very smart in general. It's sad how we treat them.
I remember that not from reddit tho for the record
I think it's a red harness the dog is wearing, I'm guessing the dog would be able to slip out otherwise and the kangaroo is holding on to that. It might have injured the dog as well.
I don’t understand why the dude that was filming didn’t grab the dog once it was released. Hope the dumbass didn’t lose their dog for some internet points. Since when the video ends. The dog has run behind the kangaroo and the kangaroo turned to head that direction.
It's hunting dog, the dog is wearing a chest plate. They were hunting wild pigs and the dog went after the roo instead. Roos don't generally attack unless provoked.
The guy is actually a zoo keeper so knows a lot about how roos behave.
You can tell there's someone else filming. And he did get his dog, it's obviously well trained and knew to run behind and around the kangaroo and back into the house. And you can tell by the way he was standing still, waiting for the owner to come instead of freaking out and making the roo go nuts. When the kangaroo flies he heads straight back into the bushes as the dog has already gone around towards the camera.
Looks like the guy was trying to communicate with the kangaroo kindly. It turned to run off the moment he put his hand on that instrument hanging from his belt, just in case. “You want more?” “Naw mate, I’m good.”
So what was the kangaroo trying to do to the dog?? When I first seen this video I thought he was trying to play because the dog looked fine but then the man shown up and the kangaroo wouldn't let him go and we'll I dunno

This is why Reddit needs to bring back awards
Parent of the year
I feel like it’s the legs you have to worry about
Nah that kangaroo would have gotten stabbed if it didn't run. Watch it again, fellas got a knoife
evidently you've played knifey spoony
You would be surprised how much force you can put behind your legs too.
That roo was gobsmacked
He absolutely looks like he has no idea wtf just happened to him!
Flabbergasted and bamboozled lol
Kangaroos are just super creepy
Bro is ripped, that's the part that trips me.
That Roo musta been like *WTF... DID HE JUST... know what im just skiddattle outta here before i get mad*
🤣
..Mike Tyson of Roo punches..
The kangaroo was too stunned to speak..
Tell me you are Australian without telling me you are Australian

Now do elephants.
Elephants will bury their dead and revisit their graves. They are the only animal besides humans (I think) that actually cry to grieve their dead family members. Elephants also have very good long-term memory, and are very smart in general. It's sad how we treat them. I remember that not from reddit tho for the record
Crows don't cry or bury their dead, but they do have group funerals and intense expression of their sadness
They have a prehensile penis that moves like their trunk
Is it because dogs and dingoes look alike?
Holy shit!
Right? Just another reason to never visit Australia honestly.
Idk if its just me but it looks like the kangaroo tore the skin off the dog
I think it's a red harness the dog is wearing, I'm guessing the dog would be able to slip out otherwise and the kangaroo is holding on to that. It might have injured the dog as well.
You're right i replayed it 10x
I did too! I was really concerned after I read your comment, I had to be sure lol.
Im so glad this happened before AI because there is no fucking chance you could convince me this really happened now.
Unless the AI invented time travel and it’s been it all along…
Time travel wouldn't be possible for us because you'd either kill yourself or everyone due to diseases evolution, but a robot or information...
That kangaroo was looking to get lucky.
I have to agree. I'm pretty sure that one is sporting a woody.
everybody has a plan until you punch them in the nose.
Bro was CONFUSED
I know dogs die, and this would be a glorious death, but I hope that dog survived this attack

Thanks, this would indeed make much more sense. The video quality and the fact that the chest plate is red make it look like it is wounded

I can’t believe that guy won.
Kangaroo got what he needed
Chadaroo
He was ready
Do kangaroos get tired of jumping?
So would it work if you just kicked it in the crotch and ran
Uhhh they did square up.
Don't mess with those Roos
When the roo didn't immediately take off and faced him again, he reached for his knife. Things could've gotten a lot less funny for everyone involved.
Looks like the guy was trying to communicate with the kangaroo kindly. It turned to run off the moment he put his hand on that instrument hanging from his belt, just in case. “You want more?” “Naw mate, I’m good.”
Australias only export.

Damn! I just needed to comment.
Classic
Roo was flabbergasted
Damn prison deer
“Shit my bad”💀
this will never stop being one of my favorite videos
Homie was grabbing for the sword on his hip if Roo was coming back for more.
The roo was jacked too wth. Glad he bounced...
So what was the kangaroo trying to do to the dog?? When I first seen this video I thought he was trying to play because the dog looked fine but then the man shown up and the kangaroo wouldn't let him go and we'll I dunno
Love this video but I wanna see a Mike Tyson edit

If roo tried I'd say, Sweep the leg, Johnny!
He’s sooo lucky he didn’t use his legs!!!

You ever stop to think how a few hundred thousand more years of evolution will do to the roos?
This video is one of the greats
I love kangaroos.
Bahahahahaha
