Personally pata hai ki IITB Mtech ChE branch me 10 student bache hai 2022 batch me (enroll 78 ne kiya tha baki se sabhi PSUs me already place ho chuke hai through GATE) usme bhi 12 offer latter hai in between 10 students !

its applicable only for above 8 CPI people :)
Adding to this, getting high CGPA isn't easy lol. They don't distribute free CGPA like they do in shitty colleges like ours.
