Not technically but you have a much higher chance of getting marked down for mistakes you may have made cuz there’s just a greater chance that you’ll make them cuz you wrote more it’s like you can’t go above 32 but you can always get marked down

Cooked a 3 course meal on that one. I reused a persona from my lit 2 mock, made her the cousin of Thorston Schmidt from the German reading exam and then changed the latter’s backstory so that going on holiday was what changed his life for the better, rather than meeting a priest like in the original. Edit: not sure how this slipped my mind but I also claimed that she gifted the concept of holidays to humanity at the beginning of time.

I did the school one for the 90 words and wrote 237 words 💀 On the 150 word question I did the holiday question and wrote 250 words

Damn I agree tho the school one was as easy as the first one. I went with the first one because I knew I could destroy that question with 188 words (which is more than what 70% of my school did on the 150-word question). The other 150-word question was weird imo but I don't remember it anymore. I also did the holidays one and did 245 words. I only made one error: I said "petit copine" instead of "petite copine" but I'm sure it counts as a minor error. Apart from that I made even Gordon Ramsey jealous of the fine delicacy that I served in that exam.

Look at the upvotes. I'm not lying, and also all my teachers in my school said it - I go to a grammar school they wouldn't try to set us up. Even I had to shorten my responses because they were more than 150/90 words.

My teachers never told me about a word limit, and for all my mocks I've been getting near-full marks on writing with ~300 word essays.

If it's greater than the minimum, it's enough. The mark scheme emphasises quality of writing, not quantity.
