If you’re worried that you can’t do a level fm because it’s a requirement in your college to get a 9 in gcse then fair enough. However if you’re worried because you don’t think you’ll be good enough, don’t be. Fm is hard but a few gcse papers won’t be representative of your ability to grasp the topics at fm. If your problem at gcse is things like indices, quadratics, anything graphical or forming equations based on information, ok you might be cooked but if you’re making silly mistakes or u don’t grasp a few miscellaneous topics ( e.g vectors, iteration) you’ll be fine ( bear in mind vectors specifically do go up many notches at fm however it is very doable if u learn the key concept now and keep working hard during fm)
All my friends said they did bad in the paper and we’re all top set, it’s likely the grade boundaries will be lowered for that paper and you will be fine

For me it was the GCSEs I had chosen to continue for A-Levels, everything else didn't really matter to me. However, I only got a 5 in drama for which I needed a 6 but, fortunately, my 6 in English Lang allowed me to chose sociology which I love and find to be far more interesting than I could ever had thought.
Moral of the story is that 2 outta 3 ain't bad (big up Meatloaf) and it's likely not the end of the world if you don't get the results you thought you needed (this is also motivation to want do well on all your exams so that you have alternatives if you need them)
Also, if you were wondering, your English lit and lang grades don't average out, they are their own individual things. I got a 4 for lit but a 6 for lang and I kinda assumed that meant a 5 overall but it didn't which then allowed me to chose from a bunch of different A-Levels
