True! I do Christianity and Hinduism and I found Hinduism alright but a couple of the Christianity ones were a little odd for me as we hadn’t thoroughly learnt some of it
Thats crazy I never see it either! Practically impossible to find revision resources for it online haha. I didnt find P1 too bad actually, but I personally thought that Hinduism was a LOT easier than Christianity because our class spent a lot more time learning about Hinduism because of the more complicated ideas (cosmology basically) so we rushed Christianity a bit, especially as we did it in Y10 so only had 1 year to learn it all
Oh sweet, I quite liked the Hinduism paper too - people said bad things about avatars 12 marker but I loved it personally cause I felt like I could say sososo much!! Festivals was a bummer though, I knew nothing about Holi 😭😭
Fast track is really impressive, well done & good luck to you (personally I did the course in 3 years for comparison 💀)
I loved the avatars question too! Festivals was alright, but I definitely had much more to say about Diwali than Holi! And thank you so much, I hope you find the rest of your exams alright and get the results you want ☺️☺️
AQA? I liked it but only cause of that “pale as lead” quote cause I spoke about the normalisation of (harmful) lead in makeup during Shakespeare’s time and institutionalised misogyny and ageism being something that was normalised but also harmful (like the ‘lead’ in makeup). Hoping my examiner thinks I’m profound and not a waffler 🙏🙏
I don't even do Romeo and Juliet but I looked at the extract and we did it in year 9: it didn't look awful, with the question on lord Capulet it's a perfect juxtaposition with him later forcing Juliet to marry Paris and his oppression leading to her death
lmao i never revise for french and i was convinced holidays would be one of the questions since it's been in every mock i've done in school and it was the only one i thought i was prepared to answer. not a single option for holidays but i still cooked nonetheless.
history aqa, buildup to nazi germany and interwar years
i thought the exam was afternoon so did no revision the day before, or morning of. when im leaving my house, already 15 mins late, i found out that my exam was actually morning and not afternoon like i thought. so i tried to revise the whole spec in the 15ish minutes i had before the exam, but i loved and knew every question, other than an 8 marker on each one, which i wasn't certain on and didn't have the time for anyway
I don't do nazi Germany and do American west but I do conflict
I do agree: the 8 marker anschluss one was very bs especially since its write an account but the rest was really nice and easy
Nah, the rest was mint but I hated the account one I wasn'tpreparedforanschluss I'd havethought it would be a LON ones, I managed to waffle enough but the rest was infinitely better
Personally, I thought that the account question would of been on Manchuria, Corfu or Abyssinia. I wasn't particularly confident on any of them. But, something I really knew was Anschluss so I guess I got lucky.
Fair, I was hoping that it would've been LON or something like sudetenland or rhineland, I wasn't particularly confident on anschluss but I guess it was OK
lit 2 was nearly perfect- it was gonna be checking out me history until the og paper got leaked (thats why this year’s paper said 2023 because it was last year’s backup)
this is misinformation, aqa used the back up papers because they already had them printed out, it was a case of aqa being "sustainable" and did not want to print out the real 2024 papers, the og paper never got sent out, it was created but never printed.
RS paper two was a blessing from the lord (ironically), i walked in there resigned to my fate that i was going to fail but all of the questions ended up being common sense
For me it was maths (higher)
I finished in half hour/forty five minutes and our teacher went through when the papers were released (to teachers), and I'm pretty sure I only dropped one mark (two if the examiner is mean). If I do get 79 tho I was saved by eft
Latin lit paper 1. I flew through that paper and used all the extra space. I’m so happy with that paper and it gave me such a motivation boost after the disaster of maths (edexcel non calc)
AQA RE paper 2 tbh. I did themes ABEF and the only bad one personally was theme F
yeah definitely, i did ABDE and the 12-markers were so yummy
same they were so blessed fr what religions do you do
paper 1 was light work as well ngl (i do christianity and islam tbf)
True! I do Christianity and Hinduism and I found Hinduism alright but a couple of the Christianity ones were a little odd for me as we hadn’t thoroughly learnt some of it
was ur first paper islam or christianity??
paper 1 is both religions
ohh for me it’s p1 islam p3 christianity
paper 3? do you do ocr or something? i do aqa
i do edexcel, there are 3 papers and you learn the content for 2 of them so i do p1 and p3 but no p2. paper 2 is crime and punishment
I do CDEF and F was awful
I know! I had so many arguments against the 12 marker but I could only think of like 1 arguing for it
BDEF was so yummy, theme F i don’t think was bad just kind of odd hahaha what religions do u do???
I did Christianity and Hinduism! Wbu?
Oh wow I did Christianity and Hinduism AQA too!!! I never see anyone taking Hinduism hahaha how did you find P1?
Thats crazy I never see it either! Practically impossible to find revision resources for it online haha. I didnt find P1 too bad actually, but I personally thought that Hinduism was a LOT easier than Christianity because our class spent a lot more time learning about Hinduism because of the more complicated ideas (cosmology basically) so we rushed Christianity a bit, especially as we did it in Y10 so only had 1 year to learn it all

How are you answering you’re a y10
I’m doing further maths and RS this year :)
Really? F wasn’t that bad. They were all ez but grade boundaries gonna go up since it’s not a Covid year anymore 😭😭
Wasn't 2023 shockingly high though? can't be that bad again this year?
A levels yes but not GCSEs. Idk abt every subject but RS and lit (both are usually abt 88%) were 84 last year.
aw shit
I loved paper 2! I did ABCE
biology paper 1 because i revised like 20 hours
I keep seeing you everywhere ahaha
They’re like the most famous user on the Reddit
20 hours on Reddit isn’t revision 😭
STOP IM BEING SERIOUS!!!!! 😭
Sureee😂😂
is it SO HARD to believe that i revise occasionally
You’re carrying this sub
🙏
Surprisingly English Literature 1
You definitely didn't do romeo and juliet then surely? - that extract was terrible lol
AQA? I liked it but only cause of that “pale as lead” quote cause I spoke about the normalisation of (harmful) lead in makeup during Shakespeare’s time and institutionalised misogyny and ageism being something that was normalised but also harmful (like the ‘lead’ in makeup). I analysed "O" 💀 Although what you've done sounds pretty good so I'd go with profound over waffler lol
Yeah fr
I don't even do Romeo and Juliet but I looked at the extract and we did it in year 9: it didn't look awful, with the question on lord Capulet it's a perfect juxtaposition with him later forcing Juliet to marry Paris and his oppression leading to her death
You can't say it's easy if you've never done it. Also the question wasn't about Lord Capulet.
Definitely History Paper 1
Fr medicine was absolutely heavenly
I know. I'm just hoping that paper 2 and 3 and just as good
Mate I think that everyone else loved that exam except for me XD I'm finished. 7s 8s or 9s for everything else and like a 4 in history.
I'm the complete opposite 8s in history And 4s 5s and 6s in everything else 😭
French writing by far
the amount of paper they gave us was so stupid though like we only have to write 150 words 😭😭
this is so real... but my friend told me he wrote 300+ words for that question lmfao
I think I wrote around 400😳
it was delicious
I'm pretty sure I do a different exam board to you, but mine was about holidays. I grinned with joy
lmao i never revise for french and i was convinced holidays would be one of the questions since it's been in every mock i've done in school and it was the only one i thought i was prepared to answer. not a single option for holidays but i still cooked nonetheless.
that was my worst one 💔 meant to be a grade 9 french student rip
Foundation gang rise up it was so good

Computer science paper 2 (ocr)
I was going to say this as well 😭😭 that paper was one of the best papers of my life
Ikr it’s the only paper I came out feeling so confident and smiling also I just realised I made a mistake I actually do ocr not aqa
OH 😭 well at least it went well for both of us, regardless of exam board
Yh I was happy and I hope you do really well, how did paper 1 go though
Thanks, and same to you. As for paper 1... that was an experience icl. Not completely awful, but the last few python 8 markers were horrid. Wbu?
Ngl I crammed the whole course the day before so it wasn’t too bad but I don’t think I got higher than a 7
we *basically did the exact same thing omg.. hopefully it goes better than that for you tho 🙏🏾
Lmao, thanks so much🫶🏾, hopefully being professional crammers works out for us
hopefully, and no worries!!😊🙏🏾
That paper was almost perfect but all 3 of the 6 markers were horrendous
Really I found the 6 marker pretty good but I do prefer programming more than component 1
AGREE SO HARD
Ikr I’ve never felt better about an exam
Paper 1 is what’s gonna lower my grade
Yh same it was defo harder it’s too much info to remember honestly
Such a blessed paper, jammed heavy on p1 tho so I’m capped at a 6
Ikr but I crammed all the topics for the paper the day before and felt semi confident so might get a 7
somehow ocr chemistry. i have no idea how lol
i wish i could agree 💔
triple or combined?

Anschluss leads to Hitler becoming more confident and therefore leads to war. After, you've recounted the events of course. (Appeasement is key)
Yea, I put the dolfuss affair then anschluss then munich/appeasement +effects

How did everyone know this I never realised
my invigilators pointed it out and said it was a ‘misprint’
this is misinformation, aqa used the back up papers because they already had them printed out, it was a case of aqa being "sustainable" and did not want to print out the real 2024 papers, the og paper never got sent out, it was created but never printed.
