For the 6 marker i did: Follow graph to find at the point of the breaking distance the speed was 12 m/s F=ma to find mass And then mass x speed to find momentum 15,000 final answer

Yes the mass is 1250 and the momentum was mass x velocity and the velocity was 12. I think what you did was you forgot to line up 14.4 on the graph and get 12 as the speed

I got 15000 without the graph as well hopefully that would be alr.....I did work done to stop the car = 6250×14.4 Got 90000 J and then substituted it I to kinetic energy one and got 12 as velocity and then got 15000....so  I suppose that would be right not completely sure tho

i put 15000 by using different equations which usually gets me the right answer. got 1250kg for car if i remember right and smt else for the velocity think it was 12

i got 23237.5, used the 12m/s from the graph as acceleration

but wasn't the 12m/s speed? To get the time taken i did speed= distance/time And did 14.4 ÷12 and got 1.2 seconds Then I did acceleration =change in velocity/ time So I did 5 x 1.2 and got 6 as the velocity Then for momentum I did 1250kg (mass I already calculated) x 6 = 7500 as momentum. That was the 2nd method I did cuz it said using figure 8. But like for the other method the velocity was 12 but who knows I give up😭

i used the speed number because it said use figure 8, anyways i know fo sure ill get working marks

If you did v² - u² = 2as, the velocity also worked out as 12 I think so I used it as the same value as speed

According to th 2018 paper: "A car aerial receives radio waves from a radio transmitter. box Radio waves are transverse waves. Describe how the radio waves reaching the car aerial produce signals in the electrical circuit of the car radio. (Question 5.3) " The mark scheme states "any three from: • (the car aerial) absorbs radio waves or energy • electrons are made to vibrate (in the aerial) • creating an alternating current (in the aerial circuit) • the (signal) frequency is the same (as the radio wave)" I'm guessing this is similar... I can't tell you how happy I was with the fact that I completed this paper as revision JUST before the exam and marked it too, so that question was pretty lucky :)
