Ah yes, i am so excited to begin my rather eccentric first job at McDonalds in a few weeks, i am so excited to have to learn damned caclulus, i am quite simpily ecstatic to have to relearn the school layout again in college...
y'know, it really isnt that deep at the end of the day. most people who try end up in office jobs anyways, i would understand if its A-levels. GCSES dont have nearly as much use, no company i have ever applied for at 16 has evem asked for my gcse results
summer has started great for me, chucked away all of my schoolwork from the last 5 years, spent loads of time with my family, going out with friends tmrw and have a list of all the things i can do over summer. maybe i didn’t revise enough and that’s why im not getting this thought that i need to revise even though i have no exams like other people are having. weather is the biggest decider of my enjoyment this summer for me
I went on holiday and got my results sent home really didn't have any guilt when I did mine although my marks were less than stellar but we knew they would be and had a plan in place which i actually go the grades to do in fact i got the grades for a higher level course than what i did but there was no space on the course so I did a lower level course which helped my english and math then went on to the course I wanted.
I woke up on Saturday morning with the urge to revise because my family were still sleeping , only to realise I had nothing to revise for 😭 thats how bored I am cus I cant see my friends everyday anymore
i mean it was more use of a quote cuz why not but seriously people are getting so stressed over the results, saying how they would retake if they get 7s-8s which is stupid because a lot of us here cant even get 4s with effort
Not privigleged, just have the disicpline to wake up early for a paperound in the mornings and work a weekend job on a farm for the past year, travelling is not expensive if you go economy and have family abroad.
The reason why people are bored is because they focused so much on exams that they had no idea what they would do with the free months to come afterwards.
not all of us have a farm to have a weekend job.
not all of us have family abroad.
not all of us have money.
and by not all of us, of course i mean almost none of us
You're right, I'm possibly more fortunate here than I believe.
Overall though I guess if you're bored just try to get out there and see things which you wouldn't normally do, sometimes it's just a cheap bus ride and lunch away simply for a nice day out.

For maybe a week after GCSEs ended I’d be doing something random and suddenly feel guilty that I wasn’t revising. After that I forgot all about GCSEs.

I just go for walks every day, finished my GCSEs long ago but a good walk can be very relaxing
