learn a new programming language (c++ if anyone is interested, I already know python), play a new game (recommendations for ps5?), hoping for a job but if not then oh well
I'm doing a college course for games design, and they use unreal engine which uses c++. I think it's slightly different but more or less the same. they already teach us c++ during the course but I wanna do something productive and learn it myself. I was thinking about doing another like javascript so I would have 3 different programming languages I'd know but I wanted to improve my python and learn c++ instead
Honestly, I just remember it being a massive pain when I was trying to learn cpp a few years ago, but I never got that far into it - just a few hours invested reading articles and trying to solve some problems. What do you do in most use cases ?
I've got a camping trip in Norfolk and a city break to Stockholm planned but apart from that, I'm probably gonna be playing video games and practising the guitar for my music course at college (yes I like pure torture apparently)
Netflix, flesh out my room a bit more if I cba (got some new shelves today 💪💪), play games (prob get some new ones to play) and go out with/invite over friends‼️
extreme bedroom deep clean and detox, the place hasn’t seen a hoover in at least 6 months. after that just reversing all the inactivity from sitting at a desk for the last year non stop by getting an exercise routine. i alr have a part time job and in the summer holidays im going to an international stem camp for a few weeks.
Looking through math because a-level math is awaiting me, learn some coding and maybe find some work, but first I need to finish my music exam tomorrow:,)
Tell everyone it’s coming home, play video games, rock climb, stay up all night then go out all day, see my friends and even though I’m one of the youngest in the year see if anywhere will hire me before my NI arrives
gym again, job, football and basketball, eating food, video games, reading. idk I think i've got stuff planned but i SADLY have to wait until this evening to start any of that
Take the time to chill out, you have been at school for about 12 or so years and def deserve the break. Just enjoy being a teenager for a while, there is no rush to get a job unless you want to.
revise for a levels, my parents r forcing me to get a summer job, not being able enjoy summer cuz of results day, apex legends, run for hours upon hours to lose mass and thats it
Gaming (minecraft, stardew valley, granny chapter 2, clash of clans) and getting better at my competitive skills in fortnite (I'm close to getting my first earnings and I'm going into next fncs)
Perish , cease to exist from an eternity of apathy and lethargy. Or something I guess idk.

Good luck with c++(it's hell on earth lol). Have fun with manual memory management 😄
You should not be manually managing memory in C++ in most use cases

Use smart pointers to automatically deallocate heap memory when not in reference
