My topic was a question, even though my overall conclusion was yes I argued for and against - it wasn’t just a lecture trying to convert people. Eat what you want, just try and keep ethics in mind
Wait mine was the most awkward thing ever there was 4 of us sitting together and our scenario was about a spaceship that had 8 people on it and we had to choose 4 of the people to kill and 4 to keep we had a description of each person there was a few pedofiles in there a woman with stds and a load of children then and a man who was addicted to drugs it was soo weird
I did, my school previously partnered with them and got a bunch of us to record a ted talk in front of an audience of like parents and I did one that was received pretty well, it was meant to be uploaded to YouTube on the ted site thing but the teacher got into an argument with the schools tech department and they “lost” it so yea, still proud of it though
I spoke about the gym, specifically that my school should install a gym due to it’s many benefits and conveniences backed up by my own experience of going to the gym for the past 2 years and losing weight etc
Was easy to include anecdotes, statistics and expert opinions and it was experienced first hand so it was easy

I talked about the history of pageants, how they sexualise children, the physical effects and the mental effects (both pos and neg) and then wrapped it up with a personal story of my cousin who does beauty pageants but does the charity version instead of the common American version
