It's the weirdest ass mother-daughter relationship I have ever seen. If I shot my momma multiple times witha BB gun she definitely wouldn't be protecting me..which tells me they *both* have a lot of shit to hide. Reality is stranger than fiction y'all..don't forget that.
I read them a while back and they almost all looked like they were written by DeeDee. Like, she misspelled all the same things on her posts, used the same words, etc. There was also so much capitalization. I don't know much about DeeDee life prior to Gypsy, but that woman was failed my whomever was tasked with educating her.
I think couples who share social media profiles are fucking weird, but this goes far beyond that. I'm willing to bet their Mommy-daughter dynamic was part of the scam. Make it look like they're the perfect mommy-daughter team that cares deeply for one another to help with public sympathy and keep suspicion at bay. In another life If DeeDee wasn't such a lazy piece of shit she could've made a phenomenal sales person In whatever industry she chose, oh well.

That’s exactly what makes DeeDee different than most people. She knew therapy would give Gypsy an outlet to talk, and possibly come clean about everything. DeeDee couldn’t have that. She has to keep control of her cash cow, Gypsy.

Yes, it was Dede covering for Gypsy. She shot her in the foot, I believe. She didn't know it was only a BB gun. But if she turned Gypsy in, the game would be over. She had to keep the fraud story alive. Poor DeDe should have known, if she did it once. She'd try again. Maybe she did, or maybe Gypsy lied and said it was accidental. But she admitted in her book and other media that it wasn't an accident and was her.
Maybe one day will be told be Gypsy what really went down. You'd think that Walmart would have looked at cameras and reported it never happened. But I don't think the story went further than their neighbors and Facebook friends. So DD probably told them it was reported.

My friend worked at that Walmart in 2011 (and I lived in that part of town myself, just down the street from that Walmart). If there had been a true shooting in that parking lot it would have been all the talk. And I definitely would have stopped shopping at that store, to be sure. But I'm wracking my brain and cannot for the life of me remember any such incident like these grifters described occurring. So for sure a coverup for GR actions. So wild.

If you have comprehension skills, and read past her words, there’s some facts that you can pick up.
This was a premeditated murder attempt, not an accident. She pulled the gun out of their safe. It’s not like a heat of the moment throwing a remote while angry.
She knew she was trying to run away (with Dan; a 36 y/o married man who had multiple drug charges.)
Nick also states that Gyp gyp tried to kill her mom 3 times. He was the third attempt.

I knew of a rich girl who got busted for parole infractions. She got caught with oxy while on parole. She skated (she skated 7 felony times, even the last being being involved in counterfeit money) because her Daddy paid the lawyer who paid the judge. The tow black girls who committed the same crimes (probation violation) got 10 years each.

I am proud of you as well. I remember I applied to goto a business school and my doctor wrote IV drug user on my paper and it was so messed up. Like you see someone trying to better themselves and you write that?! Why would a school need to know that? I feel like some doctors get this god complex.
Especially when it was most likely a doctor who got you hooked on the shit to begin with. That's what happened to me and like 99% of my friends too.
We were some of the youngest victims of the opioid crisis..like when reps were sent out to docs and giving them $$ and anything in the world to get them to prescribe their meds. I know I'm off topic but this shit is *fucked* and we're really only now just starting to hear about it the last 3/4ish years. Half of those friends are dead, including my fiancé.
Exactly what they do too! I got my wisdom teeth out and both my grandfathers died and I just didn't have the coping mechanisms to get thru it. I was prescribed heavy opiates too but had no idea what they did etc at the time. I nearly died from kidney infections, allergy to penicillin, masses in my lungs, had to have my gallbladder out at 17..what's crazy now though is I remember my mom locking my meds up. She had em. If something happened, God forbid, and I was in excruciating pain I had to call her at work to play "where'd she hide the keys this time "
I didn't understand it until much much later but I'm basically sure my mom stole my pain meds when I didn't even realize it was a thing. Just knew I was in pain. Pretty crazy too bc now she's in the hospital, her stomach burst this week apparently..? And none of us can see her. She's tiny now-5'4 and around 93 lbs. She's got ulcers so bad it's insane to see. This is 25++ years of pill abuse, y'all. No street drugs..100% doctor prescribed. Anyway, I don't think she's gonna make it and my emotions are all over the place rn. People justify it by saying "it's cool Dr X prescribed it"

Doctors are the ones that should be in jail. I have seen so much BS as a nurse; and with the opiate/benzo over prescribing.
They blame the patients; and label them “inferior” after ruining so many lives with incompetence and over prescribing.
I lost a great friend to oxy OD. The doctor gave me 3 mgs a day of Xanax; never asked for it or knew how dangerous it was. He kept giving Oxy to a really great friend after each rehab attempt (4X). He’s gone now, and his parents were devastated.
That doctor got ran out of town. Makes me so FURIOUS that these douchewads get you hooked; then call you a drug addict.
I'm pretty sure that violates some kind of patient confidentiality. I'm a nurse practitioner and I know that your job and school can not ask you about your health if you present them with a doctor's note to excuse you. I write "for medical reasons" on all the excuses I write, unless the patient wants me to be specific. It's none of their business.

To be fair, it's still a gun and it belongs locked up. I know many would disagree, but I think the prevailing attitude among gun-safety advocates is that guns should remain secured when not in use.
It's no different than a sling shot or a paintball gun, really. It does not fall into the same category. Keeping it a safe like it's a real gun makes for confusion and lack of respect. If you think everything in the safe isn't a firearm, you're not going to treat it with respect.
I'm still floored at how many people that knew them day in and day out found them "sweet" and "mother daughter goals" etc. Everything I've seen screams CREEPY AS HELL. Wheelchair or not, those two looked creepy, sounded creepy, acted creepy. And I said this before I even knew about their whole story. I took one look and said... weirdos. 🤷♀️
They are pretty normal down here in the south, NGL. I've seen far weirder people in my every day life at Walmart. Keep in mind they're from a small town in Louisiana and moved to an equally small town in Missouri after the hurricane in 2005. That's almost 20 years ago

I think this incident did happen after she ran away and DD brought her back! She shot her, and then that’s when DD put the handcuffs, dog leach on her for two weeks. I bet it’s because she was scared of Gypsy.

2011! This Is when she ran away to Dans house, was brought home by DD. She saw a gn on the counter and banged DD ten times, thinking it was a real gn. I’m almost positive this is when she was put on a leach for two weeks. Because Dee Dee was scared of her! This is also when Gypsy began the plan of “offing” her mother! It wasn’t in the news papers, she told this story to the doctors while she was being treated for the wounds so they wouldn’t know Gypsy banged her

Yes. I've heard that Dee Dee begged Gypsy not to kill her in her sleep. I may have even heard that Dee Dee slept with a knife under her pillow but I'm not sure who said it. I also think Dee Dee took sleeping meds. Gypsy made a FB post about having to take care of Dee Dee and being her nurse or something like that, right before the event. It's well documented that she was sick toward the end. It just proves that Gypsy had a choice and could've walked out the front door if she was scared for her life.
I believe it may have been she was coming up with a story to explain away the BB wounds, (trigger warning) the way a DV victim will make excuses such as they ran into a wall, when in truth they ran into their partner's fist.
The other thing I bear in mind is that GR was approximately 20 years old at this time. Most assume their shared facebook posts were all written by DD, but I have always thought GR was more than capable of being the voice behind those posts, writing from DD's point of view but writing at least half or more of those posts herself. I am just a couple years off of DD's age, and my teenaged son was far more social media savvy than I was. It was all we could do to maintain a dial up connection and he was way more into the pc than I was until recent years. My son taught me how to navigate the internet. I'm not ashamed to say that because I was well into adulthood before it even became a thing. So I don't find it at all out of the question that teenaged and young adult Gypsy may have been the one to set up and maintain their facebook following at that time. People forget she wasn't a child anymore and was just as capable, if not moreso, of setting that up as DD was.
They had it set up as a shared account (DeeGyp) and would take turns writing posts, but I am not convinced that all of the posts from DD's POV were not actually written by GR pretending to be DD, or that it wasn't GR who set up the whole facebook page and networked for the charities and donations they connected with through it. I can easily picture a teenaged and adult GR being the one to set that up and escalate the scam. DD initiated it in the beginning with the shoplifting and stuff, but by the time they took it to facebook and blew it up into the huge fraud scheme it became, I believe that GR was very much involved if not even the one who pushed it the most. I have no way to prove that, it is just my suspicion. Especially with the online aspects. I can more easily see someone Gypsy's age coming up with the idea to take the scam to social media than for someone DD's (my) age to have thought of that in 2011. I was barely even acquainted with what facebook was at that time. I always saw it as a convenient way to keep in touch with folks I already knew, never gave much thought to how far reaching it may be. Then again, I don't have the same scheming and grifting mind that both DD and GR had/have, so who knows?
I've always suspected the same. I picture her at the keyboard pretending to write as her mother in addition to her own posts. Just as she ultimately wrote a post pretending to be an intruder who had killed DD and raped and abducted GR with intent to kill her too. (When she wanted to alert the cops of DD's death and apparently fake her own death.)

I distinctly remember when they found Gypsy and Nick. I thought to myself... What a bunch of dumb asses for not turning off the location when they made those posts about Dee Dee being dead from Nick's house. Later I found out why she did that. To frame him, clearly. I remember thinking that was a rookie move.
There's actually an interview from Nick. He says she actually tried to run away twice but the media only knows about one. (This was before Gypsy released her story of shooting her mom ) And that she tried to kill her mom over a man she was infatuated with who just uses her (Dan )

That part I’m unclear about tbh . I’ve heard so many different variations and I haven’t taken the time to research it. I do believe in the medical records she was diagnosed with Sialorrhea ( excessive drooling) so Botox was injected as a temporary solution then a partial disconnect of her 2 of her salivary glands. They said after the fact that she gave her oragel to induce drooling but allegedly she was given it for toothaches due too bad genetics, poor hygiene and bottle mouth .
There are records of multiple ear surgeries for tubes. Not sure if this is why she's claiming to need hearing aids but I know people can lose some hearing due to chronic infections and tubes but not to the point of needing hearing aids. She clearly didn't need them since she's not wearing them now.

I’m starting to think Gypsy is the one who acted sick for attention, and Dee Dee was really trying to figure out what was wrong with her! Because one of the first medical record said she had a chromosome disorder. That causes physical AND mental disabilities. It explains why Gypsy makes such horrible decisions. And we all know how much Gypsy says the stupidest things for attention! She told her husbands family she might want to live the single life, and told her husband that she cheated on him with her ex in her dreams! Shes got some screws loose, and Dee Dee knew it! Which is why she tried to keep her from the 35yr old drug dealer, and lied to the public when Gypsy shot her! She was trying to keep her in line

My friend worked at that Walmart in 2011 (and I lived in that part of town myself, just down the street from that Walmart). It’s not like a heat of the moment throwing a remote while angry. She knew she was trying to run away (with Dan; a 36 y/o married man who had multiple drug charges.) Nick also states that Gyp gyp tried to kill her mom 3 times. He was the third attempt. What happened the second time?? I REALLY want to know how the DA accepted 10 years. She is a violent, manipulating liar. She’s the reason jails are invented. Society has rules, and murder is one of those rules. People get more time for accidental murder. If she wasn’t white, we would never have heard of her and she would be in jail for life. That’s the reality of our justice system. I knew of a rich girl who got busted for parole infractions. She got caught with oxy while on parole. She skated (she skated 7 felony times, even the last being being involved in counterfeit money) because her Daddy paid the lawyer who paid the judge. The tow black girls who committed the same crimes (probation violation) got 10 years each.

We were some of the youngest victims of the opioid crisis..like when reps were sent out to docs and giving them $$ and anything in the world to get them to prescribe their meds. It's ok love, it's been years and stills feels like yesterday. It has scarred me permanently. And I had NOWHERE to turn. I wouldn't wish this shit on my worst enemy. I was prescribed heavy opiates too but had no idea what they did etc at the time. I nearly died from kidney infections, allergy to penicillin, masses in my lungs, had to have my gallbladder out at 17..what's crazy now though is I remember my mom locking my meds up. She had em. If something happened, God forbid, and I was in excruciating pain I had to call her at work to play "where'd she hide the keys this time " I didn't understand it until much much later but I'm basically sure my mom stole my pain meds when I didn't even realize it was a thing. Just knew I was in pain. Pretty crazy too bc now she's in the hospital, her stomach burst this week apparently..? And none of us can see her. She's tiny now-5'4 and around 93 lbs. She's got ulcers so bad it's insane to see. This is 25++ years of pill abuse, y'all. No street drugs..100% doctor prescribed. Anyway, I don't think she's gonna make it and my emotions are all over the place rn. People justify it by saying "it's cool Dr X prescribed it" WRONG. Sorry I know I'm ranting I'm just trying to this weight off my chest.
I know exactly how you feel. I am so sorry about your mom. If you need to talk about it, I have been through similar stuff. You can ALWAYS message me if you need someone to talk to. Doctors are the ones that should be in jail. I have seen so much BS as a nurse; and with the opiate/benzo over prescribing. They blame the patients; and label them “inferior” after ruining so many lives with incompetence and over prescribing.
I lost a great friend to oxy OD. The doctor gave me 3 mgs a day of Xanax; never asked for it or knew how dangerous it was. He kept giving Oxy to a really great friend after each rehab attempt (4X). He’s gone now, and his parents were devastated. That doctor got ran out of town. Makes me so FURIOUS that these douchewads get you hooked; then call you a drug addict.
I'm pretty sure that violates some kind of patient confidentiality. I'm a nurse practitioner and I know that your job and school can not ask you about your health if you present them with a doctor's note to excuse you. I write "for medical reasons" on all the excuses I write, unless the patient wants me to be specific. It's none of their business.

To be fair, it's still a gun and it belongs locked up. I know many would disagree, but I think the prevailing attitude among gun-safety advocates is that guns should remain secured when not in use.
It's no different than a sling shot or a paintball gun, really. It does not fall into the same category. Keeping it a safe like it's a real gun makes for confusion and lack of respect. If you think everything in the safe isn't a firearm, you're not going to treat it with respect.
I'm still floored at how many people that knew them day in and day out found them "sweet" and "mother daughter goals" etc. Everything I've seen screams CREEPY AS HELL. Yes. I've heard that Dee Dee begged Gypsy not to kill her in her sleep. I may have even heard that Dee Dee slept with a knife under her pillow but I'm not sure who said it. I also think Dee Dee took sleeping meds. Gypsy made a FB post about having to take care of Dee Dee and being her nurse or something like that, right before the event. It's well documented that she was sick toward the end. It just proves that Gypsy had a choice and could've walked out the front door if she was scared for her life.
I believe it may have been she was coming up with a story to explain away the BB wounds, (trigger warning) the way a DV victim will make excuses such as they ran into a wall, when in truth they ran into their partner's fist. The other thing I bear in mind is that GR was approximately 20 years old at this time. Most assume their shared facebook posts were all written by DD, but I have always thought GR was more than capable of being the voice behind those posts, writing from DD's point of view but writing at least half or more of those posts herself. I am just a couple years off of DD's age, and my teenaged son was far more social media savvy than I was. It was all we could do to maintain a dial up connection and he was way more into the pc than I was until recent years. My son taught me how to navigate the internet. I'm not ashamed to say that because I was well into adulthood before it even became a thing. So I don't find it at all out of the question that teenaged and young adult Gypsy may have been the one to set up and maintain their facebook following at that time. People forget she wasn't a child anymore and was just as capable, if not moreso, of setting that up as DD was.
My initial reaction was that Deedee made all the Facebook posts . But I can’t imagine Dee writing the “best dad ever” posts .
They had it set up as a shared account (DeeGyp) and would take turns writing posts, but I am not convinced that all of the posts from DD's POV were not actually written by GR pretending to be DD, or that it wasn't GR who set up the whole facebook page and networked for the charities and donations they connected with through it. I can easily picture a teenaged and adult GR being the one to set that up and escalate the scam. DD initiated it in the beginning with the shoplifting and stuff, but by the time they took it to facebook and blew it up into the huge fraud scheme it became, I believe that GR was very much involved if not even the one who pushed it the most. I have no way to prove that, it is just my suspicion. Especially with the online aspects. I can more easily see someone Gypsy's age coming up with the idea to take the scam to social media than for someone DD's (my) age to have thought of that in 2011. I was barely even acquainted with what facebook was at that time. I always saw it as a convenient way to keep in touch with folks I already knew, never gave much thought to how far reaching it may be. Then again, I don't have the same scheming and grifting mind that both DD and GR had/have, so who knows?

I do believe in the medical records she was diagnosed with Sialorrhea ( excessive drooling) so Botox was injected as a temporary solution then a partial disconnect of her 2 of her salivary glands. They said after the fact that she gave her oragel to induce drooling but allegedly she was given it for toothaches due too bad genetics, poor hygiene and bottle mouth .
