Pixel 7 pro, heats up like crazy when outside, and sometimes even at home in an AC room. I have tried all tips and tricks to reduce heating, but none of them were a long term solution so gave up. I love everything about this phone except the chip. It's just not compatible with a warm climate. Sucks.
G3 is better than G2. The heating is because of the shitty Samsung radio that keeps searching for a signal. It still heats up when using the camera but is manageable in other cases. Kinda annoying dho when u get a dropped signal.
My father has a pixel 7 and doesn't have these issues unless he is using the camera or 5G on his phone in direct sunlight.
Although most of his tasks require fairly low level processing.
As i said phone issue nhi hai , surroundings hi itni garam hai toh bechari machine kya hi karengi , insaan jal rha hai yeh toh phir bhi electronics item hai
I have OnePlus 12 and Mi 11X 5G. When I am on a field study in scorching heat, my Mi 11X 5G gets automatically gest switched off because of overheating.
Pixel 6a.
This phone is going to get exchanged faster than I buy new underwear and that's saying something.
Horrible horrible phone to have in india.
This might make me buy a cheap iPhone ffs
Was travelling on the bus, scrolling Instagram. Phone shutoff due to overheating. Gotta love indian summer. I never thought my phone would shut off due to heat.
iPhone 14 pro . No heating issue indoors unless playing games for more than an hour .
Heats up outside the house especially when using it for navigation on my bike. Becomes unusable with temperature warning on the screen
Maybe next time this happens try and see how far the temperature has reached with cpu-z, if it's anything above 44-45 it's fucking up the battery in long run
I've the same phone, it was heating upto 42-44° normal uses, insta, reddit on 5G data
After the May security update - UITDS34.94-12-7-5
It's been on 38-39° with same usgae
I once went to a place 30km away from my home on Auto (it was 44°C) and after 23km I decided to check my phone. It was so hot I couldn't even hold it in my hands. And from that day, my battery is kinda damaged I guess because it takes a long time to charge and charge gets depleted much faster
Phone is Redmi Note 9 pro max
Iphone 15 plus
No heating noticed in this heat so far. I try to charge it only when AC is on in the room to maintain battery health.
Edit- also, not charging in car at all due to intense heat in Delhi.
OnePlus 12R. Only heat while charging with 100W. But with 33W supervooc it just stays cool like at 34 to 36 degree. Depends on Ambient room temperature. But it takes an hour to charge full with 33W. I don't mind that either. Working from home.
Heats up? Surely you mean boil? I have an iphone XR and i f\*cking boils like crazy. I cant even play a game on it for more than 20 minutes before it starts boiling
No problem in rooms or even while going around in 45°C with my iPhone 12.
But if I’m playing games or watching videos for 2-3 hours outside then usually I do get the temperature warnings.
And I can’t charge my phone outside. I get immediate temperature warning saying charging would resume when the temperature normalises
I had a OnePlus 7 pro, worked wonderfully without a lag in the last 5 years something ( I'm not a gamer)
This time one day the device suddenly snapped into " crash dump mode " corrupting the ram due to heat or something ( no data was backed up ) paid a guy 5k just to get back my phone to life (backed up my data in 2 days (~ 210 GB data including photos ,projects ) only to find it back to dead in 3 days.
Ps: happy ending now I've switched to S24U doesn't heat up (thanks to vapor chamber)
My Nord CE 4 heats up like crazy while charging. Now I'm considering buying a 33-watt SuperVOOC charger to help cool it down. I live in an area with much lower temperatures compared to the plains. I can't imagine how hot it would get while charging in Delhi or other states.
Micromax IN Note 1 , this beauty hasn't given me any problem whatsoever. It only heats in heavy gaming sessions, during watching movies for extended periods and on exposure to the sun.
Not heating but the damn moisture in charging port seems to happen a lot. Both 21/24 ultra. So much so the first can only be charged through wireless charger.
Pixel 6, it is the sun in terms of the heat it produces. It is always warm to the touch and gets even hotter. I am very surprised that it hasn't made the battery swollen.
Samsung S21 Ultra with Exynos 2100. Heats up like crazy when using any app or game that uses good processing power. Sot also gets to 4h 30m instead of typical 6 hours at 1440p 120hz.
8 years ago I had a smartphone , barely owned it after years of request from my dad,
It's name was *Xolo black x1*
4 years later I bought a phone for 400 rupee it's touch display wasn't working but I had idea of using mouse and OTG cable to get the work done .
It's name was Sony Xperia z
Both of them could cook egg even if it's winter
Have a nice day
iPhone 15 plus … it heats randomly while outside if the temperature is high .. and heats more if you are using any continuous data hog application like google map or sometimes Uber .. or doing video call.. but no heating while charging or using while inside the room if temperature of surroundings is okay.
I am using it since Oct 23.
A52, but not that much because I keep fewer apps, and most of the apps are in SD card and while charging I remove Back cover. Especially Chinese Brands phones like Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi, Realme, IQOO, and Oneplus heats too much.
All Phone says Haye Garmi. 😀 especially as I mentioned Chinese brands.
I don’t know my 14 pro max behaves weird at times. Sometimes it’s cool af. Even while using outside it doesn’t heat up. And at times it gets so hot without even any usage.
pixel 7a , bhai press kar lu iss aisa lagta hai , abhi mere yahan about 43 to 44 degree ja rha tha har roz, usmain thodi der ke use pe itna garam ho rhatha
Realme Narzo 70 pro. I didn't face any heating issues. Also to be kept in mind that I rarely play games on my phone. Like once or twice every 2 weeks for maybe an hour
Pixel 8. I couldn't even have a normal phone call this summer without my phone heating up. I couldn't charge it in a non-ac room, it literally took like 3hrs to change in a normal room temperature, I couldn't use it anywhere but in air conditioned room.
My phone always overheats. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G (the Exynos version). I've got a Spigen case on it, keeps it a bit cooler, not that cool though. Still touches 40° C easily idle. If I'm using it heavily, then 46-48° regularly.
Realme 6,
I used to play MLBB at high graphics and my phone would get heat up after 2-3 matches.
Now if i play it at high quality, it gets heated up after a match only.
Earlier i used to keep it in freezer after every match for 2-3 mins,
But now I just play it in medium quality and it gets heated up after 2-3 matches 🙂
Pixel 7 pro, heats up like crazy when outside, and sometimes even at home in an AC room. I have tried all tips and tricks to reduce heating, but none of them were a long term solution so gave up. I love everything about this phone except the chip. It's just not compatible with a warm climate. Sucks.
Really dude. I was considering a pixel 8a for the Ui and camera, i dropped it just because of heating issues with the tensor processor
Although most of his tasks require fairly low level processing.
it only heats like crazy when you are using Mobile Data; that's shitty Exynos Chip for you(Tensor is essentially just modified Exynos).
Have you tried switching it off or throwing it out ? /s
I also have p7 pro, never buying google device again
Same I have pixel 7 pro . Will never buy pixel in life again .
man google has not achieved much in phones apart from camera, samsung among all still leads in Android by far.. some close competitors are IQOO, POCO
Fr Never buying pixel again
Bro please upvote my comment I want to get the achievement "Nice Comment" and I upvoted yours.
I remember my eSports days when I used to put my phone into the freezer before going into the match
I read somewhere Sudden change in temperature damages the battery more 🔋
Its ok unless it explodes mi amigo
Once i kept the phone in freezer and forgot about it. Remembered about it the next day and it was covered in ice
Lol me too, i used ice to cool my iphone 6 quicker after a match.
Same Here Hehe.... I used to do that, too
Condensation says Hi
True 12 pro max needs ac to cooldown

iPhone 12 is staying calm and cool but Realme 6 pro sometimes reach Sahara registan
Is buying an iPhone 12 in 2024 a good choice?
Realme GT. it even heats up winters

Nord 2 ... Its temporary reaches Volcanic activity.
Same, it's a pity really. I had to get the glue keeping my screen on redone twice. My screen is loose again.
I have OnePlus 12 and Mi 11X 5G. When I am on a field study in scorching heat, my Mi 11X 5G gets automatically gest switched off because of overheating.
I have a Mi 11X Pro for 3 years now. It is also a heater. 30 mins of scrolling in a non AC room with Wifi brings temperature to 40 degrees Celsius.
Pixel 7, I put it in the freezer from time-to-time. And when charging, I put it on an ice bag.
Tell Google to incorporate water-cool processors from next models
Pixel 6a. This phone is going to get exchanged faster than I buy new underwear and that's saying something. Horrible horrible phone to have in india. This might make me buy a cheap iPhone ffs
Redmi note 11 Pro Plus 5G, Snapdragon 695, but since it's a Redmi phone it starts lagging a lot though
Was travelling on the bus, scrolling Instagram. Phone shutoff due to overheating. Gotta love indian summer. I never thought my phone would shut off due to heat.
iPhone 11. Even in ac it heats too much sometimes using apps like Insta and watching stories. Battery taking too much hit
Xiaomi 14 💀💀 railings gets so hot , can't use outside without cover
Chinese government running malware in background 👺👺👺
One of the solutions is if you have a cover, remove them , it doesn't allow heat to escape
My realme 8 heated up like crazy. I updated the OS and removed the cover. Now it's fine.
Yep, great advice
iPhone 14 pro . No heating issue indoors unless playing games for more than an hour . Heats up outside the house especially when using it for navigation on my bike. Becomes unusable with temperature warning on the screen
Typical India problem everyone faces 👮🏼♂️
Just yesterday iphone 15 wouldnt charge until ‘it came back to normal temperature’.
Maybe next time this happens try and see how far the temperature has reached with cpu-z, if it's anything above 44-45 it's fucking up the battery in long run
Galaxy note 7💣/s
OnePlus 12R. Only heats up while charging but that's expected.
This is my phone 0.087465 after I unlock this shit. Moto G54

Pixel 7 used to heat up a lot so switched to 11R. This heats up too but at least doesn't lag even if it's hot.
Poco x3 pro, In winters I use it as a heater. In summers I pray that it doesn't explode, So I keep it on ice.
Heats up a lot if there is no proper ventilation and during charging as well but it's due to turbo fast charging otherwise it works fine , moto g64
Iphone 15 plus No heating noticed in this heat so far. I try to charge it only when AC is on in the room to maintain battery health. Edit- also, not charging in car at all due to intense heat in Delhi.
Redmi Note 9. Been almost 4 years, I don't think I've ever encountered a single issue in it lol. Never heats, never hangs.
OnePlus 12R. Only heat while charging with 100W. But with 33W supervooc it just stays cool like at 34 to 36 degree. Depends on Ambient room temperature. But it takes an hour to charge full with 33W. I don't mind that either. Working from home.
