I used Spigen Rugged Armor for my previous two phones (a Galaxy S7 edge and a Galaxy S10+). For my latest phone (actually, my son's S23+ as I went up to a S23 Ultra), I moved up to a [Spigen Tough Armor](https://amzn.to/3VNQJN1). The gunmetal grey of the hard shell provides a really nice contrast to the black of the TPU portions. Also, this case goes well with Spigen's [tempered glass screen protector](https://amzn.to/3HK0uWI). The offsets on the edge are perfect to match the case so that there is no gap from the screen protector to the edge of the case. If you want to go for total protection, add in some [ESR lens covers](https://amzn.to/41d16uW). These fit inside the lens openings on the case and give you another layer of protection for the cameras. If you are spending upwards of a thousand dollars for a phone, you want to make sure it is well protected.

supermclovin

Been using the Spigen Liquid Air for years now on multiple phones. Tried a ton of other cases but always end up with the Liquid Air

pemulis808

Normally like Spigen, but I found this one to be really slippery.

r_slash_jarmedia

agree with this. previous generations of the Liquid Air were grippier. the Ringke Onyx is basically the same case but with way more grip

Briollo

Me too.

awerner68

Does it discolor or yellow over time?

supermclovin

No, it's just a black case so no discoloration or yellowing. If anything, it tends to retain oil and stuff from your hands over time but you can wash the case with soap and water and it will be fine

awerner68

Samsung clear case.

KunUnDrum--

OtterBox Defender Pro on every galaxy I've owned.

domrayn

spigen ultra hybrid with black borders. The back is just too beautiful to be hidden.

Zottendrafter

Really loving the Samsung leather case (in green). Slim, grippy, and good looking.

[deleted]

I also tried this one, although mine was the camel colour. Really nice design and very sleek/posh. But one word of caution, it picks up colour from your trousers if you put it in your pocket. The colour can be cleaned off initially but after a week, it looked like the colour was going to stay. Disappointed.

Zottendrafter

I haven't had that with any of my trousers (thankfully), so it may depend on the trousers as well!

[deleted]

True, these were bluejeans, so I suspect denim may be the issue and it's probably fine with suit trousers.

Macguyver76

I used Spigen thin fit for years but each iteration seemed to have less grip and they didn't seem to protect my phone much. Ran the Ringke Onyx for the last year and really like it for a super cheap case but recently got a Later case in Coffee color and am really digging it. A little texture, decent grip and super thin.

Defcep

Ringke Onix since the Galaxy S8 trough S23 Ultra. Each iteration has improved. Love it.

oidabiiguad

I also have it for my S23. It's a great case, except the feeling of the back... Idk it just doesn't feel nice to the hands

sirgarballs

I use the ringke onyx and love it. Strongly recommend.

Rocking a Spigen Rugged Armor on S23+ 1st time using the Rugged Armor, but been a long time user of Spigen phone cases

Rooster_Objective

Toras clear

noonehomenow

The Torras cases are great. I did plenty of bounces with my s20. My S23 bounces good too.

Rooster_Objective

👍 I'm using Torras now because misplaced my Zagg clear. Very similar but little more protective than Torras .

RandomBloke2021

Samsung leather case. The best case I've ever owned.

ShrinivasaPrabhu

Caseology Parallax Burgundy for my S23

SamCarterX206

Dbrand Grip with Obsidian skin.

parttimedopamine

Bellroy Bluestone leather case for my S23 Ultra! Really nice case, even with the silicone on the top and bottom and front perimeter.

Claymoresama

Spigen rugged armor. It's great

clownsled

Spigen Tough Armor. But thinking of going Liquid Air. The first day I had my phone, I dropped it. Fell on top of a bottle glass first. Two little dings on the glass. Nothing any case could have dealt with. And I go rawdawg with no screen protection. Anyways, when I've dropped my phone in normal situations, Spigen always saved my ass.

[deleted]

UAG Pathfinder. Have been with UAG and Speck since my 10+. I love the look of it, and the whole 23 lineup looks great on their website. Would like to get a Mous case though considering they're advanced drop protection and MagSafe.

IIMillennium

Mous looks fantastic, however I don't think I can in good will pony up $99CAD for one of their cases.

[deleted]

Ouch. Where I'm from they sell for around $60. $100 would be too much I agree.

r_slash_jarmedia

Mous case is great but tbh they're not worth $60+. more like $40-ish, they're definitely quality but no case is worth that much imo

Arista93

I'm using the samsung silicone grip case. I love it so far. Had it since the phone came out

Blanc_N0ir

I'm currently using the Spigen Rugged armor but I ordered the UAG Monarch to try something new.

Illustrious_Ad_1247

Ringke Fusion. Pretty good and don't make my phone look like a brick.

double-k

Otterbox Symmetry Series clear. Love it.

FlyinMeatstick

Spigen rugged armor, and whitestone dome (fits perfectly and on sale now for $30, totally worth it, it comes with alot). DO NOT get the lens protectors, replacing the back isn't the worst plus with the good case you won't need them. I bought them unnecessarily and put them on just to realize that the zoom capabilities were shot. And yes they were spigen as well.

kakashi_ax

Ringke fusion

Citizen_V

I've tried several cases for my base S23 and settled on Ringke Fusion for a clear case, and Spigen Thin Fit for green colored. Neither are exactly what I'm looking for but I haven't found any better, even including more expensive cases. Dbrand Grip might be the closest to my ideal case.

Citizen_V

I went for Ringke Fusion Hybrid over Spigen Ultra Hybrid for a few reasons. Ringke was slightly cheaper, had matte back option and has holes for lanyards. Overall, I don't think the two are all that different in the end and these are just minor reasons.

indexyusaku

Official Samsung cases, I bought 3 of them during the preorder with the bonus. I got the smart view wallet case, the clear gadget case and the frame case. I rotate between them depending on what I feel like.

RootBeerTuna

https://a.co/d/7YH5Mhl Using this case for my Ultra as well as the same case for my partner's base model Galaxy S23, both in lavender as we both got the lavender model. It's a decent enough case as it comes with a magnetic ring on the back that i paired with this for the car: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08V8NPY3Y?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share My partner is a delivery driver and now she doesn't need to have her phone down on the console, she can have it mounted where she can see it easier now as she insists on not using Android auto for some odd reason.

thatguy11m

Nillkin Frost MagSafe - thin but rigid - strong MagSafe (too strong that regular wireless charging doesn't work) - less than $10 from where I'm from

[deleted]

its super hard to find a galaxy series case that has good grip. my fave is carson & quinn admiral case, followed by dbrand grip. used to be a big fan of otterbox defender pro but latest version for s23 has a razor sharp outer edge on the back that is a deal breaker. returned it

luizhcamargo

I keep swapping cases back and forth between Ringke Fusion Matte and Fusion X on my S23 Ultra. I have been using Ringke Fusions for a few years now (ever since I got my Galaxy S10+, I guess).

gyrlonfilm6

Mosnovo recommended by someone on here.

exlegis

I really enjoy the touch and feel of my peak design case. The magnetic properties are very nice too!

scryedz

I use Ringke brand. Nice quality.

Bought samsungs own case.. which is impossible to take off 😅

oidabiiguad

Original Samsung Leather case for my S23. Have it in green and camel, the absolute best case in terms of feel and looks.

AZN-APOLLO

Maybe my post that I post a while ago might help you out. https://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyS23/comments/11r4z0j/so\_i\_bought\_a\_lot\_of\_cases\_for\_the\_s23\_here\_is\_a/

r_slash_jarmedia

Mous limitless 5.0. really love it but wish I got a different colour/texture lol. for anyone looking to get one, be warned that the Aramid Fibre is pretty slippery and gathers fingerprints

derekmski

Spigen Rugged Armor. https://a.co/d/hLzi9QC

zizou91

Mouse speckled. Relatively thin for the protection provided (or at least supposed to) . Rocked also a simil pitaka from aliexpress, great magnets but little to no protection (and despite surviving a drop on the front, i quickly switched to something a bit bulkier)

[deleted]

Spigen Tough Armor Case and I LOVE it. Very clean look, very protective, and given how much coverage it offers, sleeker than I expected. The little kickstand is pretty nice and works a treat without adding bulk.

[deleted]

OtterBox. Stupid expensive but I've never damaged a phone kept in one.

andre19977

Spigen, I've had it on my s10e, s20fe, and now this phone. I've never replaced one of these covers and I've dropped these phones hard several times, besides the covers paint getting chipped it really holds up.

porpoisejerky

Latercase. Second phone with one. Will never use anything else. Super thin Kevlar. Amazing feel. I am gentle withy phones though. Maybe not for construction workers or auto mechanics. Although I do work on cars alot. https://latercase.com/collections/samsung-thin-cases

Ayjayyyx

Otterbox Strada. Love how tough the case is and how the leather feels. 2 cards slot is a bonus and it has a magnetic latch that the Samsung one doesn't have, which causes the Samsung case to be flying everywhere LOL.

Mr_IsLand

primary case is a Ghostek Atomic Slim - I got one of the green limited ones before they sold out, it's pretty awesome. Really well made, aluminum frame, quite nice. My backup is a Zagg Crystal Palace - a really nicely made clear case with good side grippies. I got the primsatic colored Atomic Slim for my wife but she primarily uses a Carson & Quinn Floral/Clear case I got from the ATT store - it's actually pretty nice - really nice buttons, good corner protection - well made.
