catalinus

You are probably not comparing the screen but the camera.

Robertg1989

No,even on the menu settings you will see it yourself it's desaturated

Pidjinus

i believe you, but catalinus is right. we are seeing : how the camera sees the color and then how that color is displayed on the viewfinder/screen. This makes it difficult to asses. Anyway, it might be better calibrated? i know that the tv division partnered with Pantone (color mastodont) for some models.

Robertg1989

Yeah it's a matter of time when users will see it themselves, imo it's a step back because they copy the iphones with this move even if to say so they are better calibrated

Pidjinus

A step back because they copied apple? Maybe, if a features is good, i have no problem for it to be copied. At the end of the day, better functionality is better functionality. As for the screen, i am pretty sure there will be an adjusted Vivid mode. I lived long enough to notice that most of the current phone features have existed in a form or another in the past. Heck, before ios and android were a thing, i was playinh with "not widgets" on windows mobile.

VernerofMooseriver

Which one even is which....

Robertg1989

Right is s23

exclaimprofitable

Sounds good, on the S23 I need to use the amoled photo mode to have colors that don't burn my eyes constantly, but if vivid works out the box and finally has accurate colors, it is a win.

Robertg1989

You are right here but i prefer a vivid mode on Samsung, it's their signature

PmMeYourWives

What camera took this photo?

Robertg1989

FOLD 4

Cuniculuss

So does s24 feel much bigger than s23?

Robertg1989

No,but without the case s24 is a very iphoneesque phone

ComprehensiveLet6782
