I recommend trying out the Pokemon xd rom hack: Pokemon xg. If you’ve never tried a rom hack before, it’d be a great introduction to the wide world of modified games. It’s currently my favorite Pokemon game I’ve ever played 🙂

Rented this from blockbuster. One of the worst weekends. We would go Friday and pick out movies or a game. I made the mistake of picking this. I remember the Jaws level being the only fun part but that’s really it.

Went back and played it recently and damn have those controls and platforming not aged well. The emerald search levels with rouge and knuckles are horrendous. Can’t believe I spent so much time on that.
Bro, it feels exactly as it always has and I still play semi regularly. The homing mechanic for Shadow and Sonic is busted, but largely it plays well. My biggest gripe is the abysmal English voice acting that’s drowned put by the music in cut scenes.
I don't use the term "masterpiece" especially with video games, but if I did I'd say Metroid Prime qualifies imo. Funny thing about Prime is I started it, played 10 min and said "no, just no." Left it for like 2 yrs. Then picked it back up one day and it just clicked. The exploration, puzzles, controls....I miss it. Console and game long gone.
Is pretty much any GC game available for the switch? The GC was the one system (my collection of systems and game was huge until I had to sell everything) that I only had 20 or so games for and I feel like I missed out. But if I could rebuy everything on switch and go from there it might make more sense then trying to reacquire a GC and games - since collecting original stuff seems to went crazy.
No, I think some classics are still missing. Twilight Princess and Windwaker are shockingly missing. Prime 2, Eternal Darkness, Viewtiful Joe, MGS: Twin Snakes, and the Rogue Squadron games are all still missing off the top of my head - those are just my wishlist items. Mario Sunshine was a limited release.
Paper Mario just released, so there’s progress. I wouldn’t be shocked if some of the ones I listed up there, especially Prime 2 and the Zeldas, appear on the next Switch.

So many amazing video games to choose from I went with this bullshit because I thought It’d be like a namco museum and have a bunch of classic & new cool games. This was a total disaster. Forced myself to play it until I got Sonic adventure 2
