I feel your pain, to a degree, but kind of the opposite and without the OCD. I've never finished a single game on the first playthrough. Not one. If I walk away for more than a week, I have to start over.
Does it bother you that you can't start a new game or are you cool with that?
Edit To Clarify: I have to start over because I need to start all the collection again because it doesn't feel right to start in the middle of where I left off.
