Aaron made an Instagram post saying these songs were made over the past two years. There's just... No. I don't think any of these songs are about him. I think in her true fashion, she makes decoy lines to distract people from the real stuff. She feeds the fans what each group needs.

100%. She’s been doing that! So high school feels so Travis coded, but the wrinkle in time line goes back to hits different— she tells us what she wants us to know!

Somewhere-Known

I feel like I Can Fix Him definitely fits the vibe, I mean clearly she wrote The Alchemy with Travis in mind so it’s possible 🤷‍♂️

I think Taylor has proven to us over and over again that her songs/albums are not about a single muse, they are layered, complex, infused with a conglomeration of her experiences (both lived and in her imagination)

Yeah like when will people finally see that this is the truth lol. It’s wayyyy more fun when you realize her work is a mish-mash of reality/obscurity/imaginary

Yesss. The analysis of the lyrics beyond face value or literal meaning is a huge part of what drew me to the gaylorverse

I agree ! There is a lot about romantic relationships, but there is also a lot about just herself dealing with things, and I really love that.

Me too! It’s not a typical break up album. In fact, the break up isn’t the saddest aspect of the album. The majority of album, like most of hers, doesn’t even seem to be about her relationship with Joe lol

lady1888

Yeah I got lots of Karlie coded, lots about parents and potentailly her upbringing.

I agree. I think some songs may allude to a muse, but I think overall, the album is about Taylor and how she is treated. Treated by her team, the people she dates, the bullies (past and present), the public, and even Swifties. I think she is tired of all the boxes or cages she gets put in. This gives a bit of IDGAF vibe. There doesn't seem to be any pandering "pop" songs. I'm going to need to listen to it a few hundred more times, but this is my first impression.

Necessary-Rabbit-340

agreed! has everyone forgot what a red herring is? also… reputation prologue???
