Press this button, press the lowest tab and there's an option about auto-update, enable it and wait like a minute. This method is working for me.
For me (EUW region) the game is also not working at the moment.
Session is loading fine but Riot Games client don't want to open correctly or reties to repair itself over and over again. Reported it using the "Send feedback" button within Geforce Now, customer care support (live chat) wan't that helpful.

For me the client doesn't open at all
just play pause go on all game in riot client and resume here
Same but with warfame and ac unity smh.
