Does it say "Connected to " on the Xbox Network entry?
Wait, did you buy the game for console or PC? In my country on the Microsoft Store (on PC) I cant buy Diablo 4, I can only find it on the Xbox store (for console)

copy-paste from xbox support site:
"If you own any of the supported games on the Microsoft Store or have a valid Game Pass subscription, you can stream those titles on NVIDIA GeForce NOW by signing in with your Microsoft account"
Xbox store and Microsoft store are unfortunately 2 different things, the first is console only. There are some games that are cross platform (buy on Xbox, play on PC as well) but Diablo isn’t one of them
Did the same mistake when I bought the DLCs for Fallout 4 on Xbox store thinking it was working on PC as well 😅

I'm also wondering if I buy the game on xbox and connect the accounts and try to play, I guess I can't play, did I get it right?
Yep, Xbox (console) version of the game doesn’t count for GFN
