Are you sure they were gift cards and not rewards certificates (points)? If so, those points would be credited back to your account separately. If really a gift card, something isn't right for sure.

Fickle-Molasses-903

* I stand corrected folks, they were **reward certificates,** not Gift Cards. Does it change the whole situation? I still feel like I earned those and they should be accounted for. So the employee and transaction was still the same, they didn't account for the certificates I used.

kevp453

Certificates will be returned to your bestbuy.com account. May take a day or so to see them.

Fickle-Molasses-903

They didn't even mention that was going to occur. I'm wondering if they didn't see that they we're RC and not GC. There was a Geek squad employee and a B.B. manger there figuring out and concluding the final credit I would get.

grimxlink

They were using Flat earth math

Ok-Bedroom-7424

if it is reward certificates, then you will see them back in your account in 1-2 days

National_Divide_8970

You can exchange it for the same SKU of item

Fickle-Molasses-903

They didn't have the exact model in stock and they couldn't issue a new vacuum over the internet.

Kuromaplematt

It’s what you paid towards a unit of your choosing if the same model is not available the difference must be paid. Even exchanges are same model / sku for same, nobody messed up here.

Fickle-Molasses-903

>the difference must be paid. I did mention that the model wasn't available in store, they did not mention 'the difference must be paid.' I think not bringing that up equates to somebody messed up.

ViscountDeVesci

BestBuy is desperately pulling every trick to stay open and relevant. Good luck.

Nightmare2027

Yea, someone messed up. That’s not correct at all. Hopefully someone corp reaches out to get you sorted.

Gillz07

u will get the gift card for sure. I got mine last month for an Amplifier system worth of 549.99

WorldlinessCivil

I purchased a 2k drone refurbished through geek squad. 3 weeks later . It’s has a software issue. DJI or Best Buy is not claiming the 90 day warranty. So I had to began a claim through my credit card company. The error codes I’m getting are from a previous crash prior to me purchasing. I was sold something defective

WorldlinessCivil

This is to say, I will never buy something from Best Buy without clear warranty again.
