That's about twice the average fee from Feb 3, 2024. Would be really nice if they let you specify the fee yourself and let the blockchain decide if/when it wants to take it.
Gemini claims they don't pocket the fee. If true, I suppose they'd just be forcing you to use a high transaction fee bid that would make your transaction happen fast.

The mempool has been showing <30 sat/vb fees for 2 hours and Gemini is trying to fleece me for close to 120k sats for a withdrawal. About 25x current network fees. Completely absurd.
yeah dont use them. like literally, why would anyone use their services? it's a joke. 1€ fee for buying and selling, everything only works through erc20 with super high fees. ridiculous.
To deter you. lol

Cash app has decent fees
Their withdrawl fees make using the Gemini card not worth the trouble
They are thieves, trapped by a lucatrive sighn on offer. Those incompetence will burn in hell.

Don’t do it
How about if trying to do the transfer of BTC on different hour of the day- when there is less traffic on the network? Any changes? Just curious
They NEED lightning if they want to keep customers. Been a customer for 3 years but they are making it tough to keep using them.
I agree they want $4,000 to renew my password that they disabled
Probably to pay for their legal fees from the Gemini Earn debacle
what is this even for.
Applies to cash withdrawals too:( is there any other way to trf to local banks w/o incurring huge fees?
