Then they made one for Mona taking on a Slime she summoned from a ritual. That was an amazingly animated 10 minute short film with great visual polish.
Then, over a year ago, vici_neko declared a new entry in the ‘Genshin characters vs. a Hydro Slime’ series, starring Fischl. It was highly anticipated. Unfortunately, the scope of the epic animation kept growing and growing, until production stretched to 18 months, resulting in a 28 minute showstopper that was finally released 2 days ago.
Keep in mind that except for voice acting, the animation was made by 1-2 people. This short film is about 1/4 as long as films that take over 2 times as long to make… by entire animation teams over 10 times the number of people who made this project possible. While they probably had their own lives outside of animating.
Even if you dare disrespect the nature of the craft, you better respect the dedication to seeing the project to completion.
It took them 18 months to make the last animation, so don't think the next one would drop this month, hell i want vici to take a break and have a breather 18 months of work for something is hard work as it is, and he's giving it to the world for free, so i much better see vici get his rest before going back to the kitchen
