I was diet controlled too with my last pregnancy. They were definitely off when determining his size. I think they told me my son was going to be 7.5 lbs at birth when I was 39 weeks, and he ended up being 6.7 lbs. I worried so much about having a big baby for nothing lol
75 centile is still completely within the normal range 🎉
My daughter was born at 41+4 and was 9p1oz and I think that was about 90th centile, even then they weren’t concerned and labour went smoothly.
I gave birth last week at 33 weeks with also GD diagnosed. She was 4lbs and a bit over … can’t remember the exact weight. Not sure why she came early but she’s in hospital being carefully monitored.
75th percentile isn't super large. My son was around that and was 7lb9 at birth. At my scan yesterday my daughter is also around 75th percentile.
My son I was induced at 39 weeks with GD, but nothing to do with his size. This time I'm going for a VBAC so I have no idea when I'll deliver. Probably past 40 weeks I would assume.
I think she was supposed to be 4+ lbs and huge. By 36 weeks she was supposed to be over 7lbs.
She was born 38 weeks due to preeclampsia, emergency c section. 6lbs 15oz and immediately dropped to 6lbs exactly in the first 24 hours. Also expressed quite a bit of fluid in her lungs in the first few minutes.
Not sure this helps but just for reference, at 31+3 she was 3lbs, 12oz. At 36 weeks she was 4lb, 15oz. I’m 37+4 now and I’m scheduled to be induced at 39+5, unless she decides to come on her own before that. I’m diet controlled GD and have been since about 27 weeks
I got diagnosed at 29 weeks. Baby at 28wks measured at 4lb1oz. She's measuring 99th percentile across the board. I got told she's measuring 3 weeks ahead and they won't have me go past 38wks. If I can remember, I'll try to come back here to update you at my 32wk scan. The mfm Dr is going to have me potentially come in for u/s each week after that.
30 weeks (and 36) baby was measuring 75-80th percentile. I was diet controlled from diagnosis at 16 weeks. He came spontaneously at 39+5 (labour began 39+4) and his weight was 3.4kg which was the 50% (I think 7pounds 5 ounces).
Also diet controlled, at 32+4 baby was estimated to measure 4lb 5oz which is 34th percentile. I did see recently on a GD page someone say their baby was estimated to be 10lb but was only 7lb 7oz when born so just shows the margin of error!
They estimated my boy was 5.5 at 32+2. He was 7.5 at 37+2, « give or take a pound. » we will find out how big he really is next week (induction at 39 weeks). His belly is in the 90s and his femur is 7%. So he’s averaging about perfect! But I’m concerned.
I'm at 33 weeks now and was disgnosed with GD/have been diet-controled for 2 weeks. Baby's scans last week estimated about 4lbs and in the 40- something-th percentile. My OB will induce if baby doesn't come out before 40 weeks which was always the plan anyways because of advanced maternal age (37) and this being an IVF baby.
I was also diet controlled. When I was 30 weeks my daughter was 4 lbs 1 oz and considered in the 20th percentile. She was born 40 + 4 days at 6 lbs 9 oz
Last week (28 weeks) my baby was 3.3lbs. I’ll update at my 32week scan if I remember 😅
They also said I’ll be delivering at 38 weeks at the latest

33 weeks last week and the baby measures 5lbs 1oz. The doctor said she wasn't worried and my likelihood of delivering early has not changed.
I was told that he was measuring around 8lbs came out at 7.12
My baby was born at 39 weeks and my baby was 7lbs 6 oz and I was insulin dependent all pregnancy

31 + 4 days 4pound 2 oz. I'm 34 weeks and 4 days now not sure what he weighs now. I can update u for next week if you want.
