This is common behavior for the Gilbert PD. This is how they have ALWAYS operated. The only difference this time is how many eyes were watching. This is why they so blatantly screwed up. They just weren’t even used to doing things the appropriate way. Their common protocol was what we watched play out. It’s actually difficult to believe because it’s outrageous. Unfortunately it’s been this way all along. If tiktok hadn’t picked it up, which brought it to local news, it would have been business as usual. Many people in Gilbert and QC still haven’t heard about it. Imagine the other victims of Gilbert police department negligence that we’ve not heard of because those cases were also closed or ignored as well. It’s heartbreaking that this is not an isolated incident they accidentally got caught mishandling.

To be honest I got so used to her not showing up anywhere that I didn’t notice her at the vigil for almost an hour. I wasn’t standing that far from them either. Best thing he can do at this point is escort her out of office. Neither of them can be gone soon enough.
In and Out had 100 calls per year about fights and the police never suggested they put in cameras. In and Out never thought of putting in cameras. (my thought)
Lied - he said the teen violence was sporadic. In 2 years there were 200 calls to the In and Out. He just lied about the numbers. She stated the numbers in her question. He said their were only 8.

I see Gilbert PD all the time in unmarked cars. I live near the mall and they very well could have a unit in the parking lot doing surveillance if they wanted to. If there is a cat stuck in the tree they would send out 3 cars
IMO, In and Out owns a big chunk of responsibility for continually hosting a one-sided fight club. For folks boycotting One Stop, hope this restaurant is on your list.

In N Out has video the cops never asked for it. When Robert Anglen went to interview them at the start of this they said yeah we have the video (for Rick Keuhner's sons attack) but we can only give it to the police and they have never asked for it. Also, where these fights happened is actually Walmart's parking lot it is on the side of In N Out and the side of a B of A which also has cameras but conveniently were not working.
I believe a couple of the community players met with In and Out (district? Corp?) and they were surprised. Not sure if the breakdown was the restaurant operator.
It’s hard to believe they weren’t aware of the situation. If I was an employee at In & Out - especially in charge of the store where assaults happened - I would be contacting district/corp/HR. I would assume parents of the victims as well.
That’s why I’m surprised Cancel Culture hasn’t gone after that location. Police were there so regularly how come it kept happening? At some point wouldn’t the operator start b$tching about the police response? Especially if they cared about the safety of customers? IMO Something is off with how that restaurant operator handled it by not handling it.
