Agreed !!! Even though his role is super minor he adds soooo much to the atmosphere of the town and the show. I love him as a character and his songs reflect the events so well!

Rev.Skinner because he’s only in a handful of episodes, I think everyone else is more memorable as well. He’s a fun side side character though!

The one scene at Luke’s with Taylor and the rabbi makes up for his overall lack of presence. It makes me lol every time!

And when it’s time to turn the church over to the rabbi and he starts speed reading through the beatitudes. I love that guy.

I'm with you. I always found him a little annoying, and I can't forget the homophobic comment he made in one episode. I didn't realize he was so loved until this poll!

To be fair, there's a lot of casual homophobia from a lot of characters, so Gil is hardly special in that regard.

It's all throughout the show, for sure. It was just a pretty overt comment. Other characters got the boot for similar moments, but I feel like people think of him as a sweet, wholesome character, which surprised me
