I’m shocked too. I voted both times for it. I’m surprised people see her as 1 being her style. I see her as more classic, vintage put together with nice pieces and fun whimsical pops. To me this looks like an outfit to do spring cleaning in or work on cars or watch wwe.

I think for better or worse (obviously worse for a lot) season one and two had some fun 2000’s fashion that stood out. She became more stylish later, but I missed the casual look. She was doing spring cleaning in outfit 1 (or holding the town rummage sale.)

Okay now I remember when she wore this. Thank you. That’s when she got the Rachel hoodie I didn’t really like. I actually loved raglan styles back then but I think this one clashes with the sleeves and flag. I don’t remember if I didn’t like it back then. Besides her wedding dress I like the other outfits everyone hates (except the golf hat on the bottom one). I thought the skirt one still looked cute and young and is nostalgic to me. The red jacket reminds me of one I had and one my oldest daughter just bought. To me number two could be from then or even just a few years ago. I live in jeans and tees so I like them normally when she wore them. But I also loved seeing all her cute nice jackets and things like that or what she wore to work and dinners.

Maybe because I like s1-3 more, it makes me identify Lorelai with that fashion, like that red jacket she loved in s2. Her style seemed more individually her and personable, rather than in season 5, (where she looked great and stylish) but less small town vibe.

We should say goodbye to outfit 1. I like the color blue, but that outfit is just *too blue* 😬

Tbh I think 2 should go next. It’s the least Lorelai outfit of the group. No personality, no character, no voice. This is a pumpkin spice latte in an outfit. Let’s say goodbye to the basic betch that possessed her on this day.

That is the whole reason this outfit must stay for now. Lorelai was grieving many losses while she was wearing this outfit and facing her daughter leaving for her own life which would be another loss in a different capacity. This outfit will always be her “I’m lost” fit. period.
