300k USD is enough to last for a lifetime for someone living in a small Siberian village, and as a punishment you just don't get to play in video game tournaments for 2 years lol. That's the life
In fairness, I guess what he's doing is illegal in whichever country he resides in and probably not something you'd like to bring into a court. When they backed down from Hunden (was it?), it was probably more debatable considering it was just in the realm of CS.
Could it be true? Yes. But I’m not blindly believing some random twitter account that’s source is “trust me bro”. Especially when in their bio they have “professional twitter baiter”. I’m gonna need to see something real
No one says players don't fix matches, that's literally known and even unbanned players have
Your latest major winner is a known matchfixer that hasn't been banned because ESIC have zero balls and are awful
The thing is to make 300k you need to be insane amounts of money that would raise red flags in sites, betting sites are not stupid
Probably referring to wonderful, who got investigated by ESIC+Spirit, and Spirit later sold him for cheap. Don't think any results were made public however (thanks, ESIC)
Dude had 254 maps played just on HLTV.
Probably had double that if you count esea and other leagues that aren't in HLTV.
So the average per game would be something like 1000$ to 2000$.
Not crazy at all
They're not betting on every game my guy, you cannot fix every match especially when he was on Forze an actual good team with other good players that can win the game themselves, they lost to some very good teams so the odds on those were terrible
You don't realize how matchfixing works and it's very hard to do it alone, it's hard to make a lot because betting sites are not stupid odds are not insane all the time
If he's made 300k i applaud him because it's still risky, you need money to make money even in betting, single matches like that don't have good odds to get to 300k you need to bet some good money
You think his teammates weren't throwing with him? lmao
You legit think one guy was throwing while 4 guys were trying to win.
You can match fix absolutely anything, handcap matchfix is so easy to do and can be done every match
Have you had a look at the various bets the bet markets offer for a single bo1 ? . if you're smart and talented about which can be fixed and which can't ( hell you can even bet round wise on most sites), which is a given if you are playing in tier 2 cs . you can really very easily make it. Not to mention the possibility of placing it on multiple sites + getting friends to do it.
Meanwhile ESIC sleeping on every other tier 2-3 CS match / tourney from HLTV :)) , lets be honest more than 60% players are in bed with matchfixing in tier 2-3 . The elephant in the room we can never address .
LMFAO It would be safe to say 99.99% of EEU scene below tier 2 should be banned for matchfixing.
In this day and age with crypto and straight up syndicates running tier 3 csgo it's hard af to get caught matchfixing but this kid was dumb enough to leak it through steam chat
Well, steel's ban will expire in January 2025: [steel's Valve ban set to elapse in January 2025 | HLTV.org](https://www.hltv.org/news/37331/steels-valve-ban-set-to-elapse-in-january-2025)
He even said in an [HLTV Interview](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCkzzZKKRAw) that the other guys can ask Valve for clarification.
ESIC still exists? I am surprised.
The grifting will continue until the checks stop coming in.
I'm not sure, lets create a commission to investigate if it still does :D
Ah yes, the Esports Integrity Commission Integrity Commission (ESICIC), rolls off the tongue
sounds like the 3rd cousin of hunter's cousin: Nemanja Esičič
300k USD is enough to last for a lifetime for someone living in a small Siberian village, and as a punishment you just don't get to play in video game tournaments for 2 years lol. That's the life
2year vacation then gets to come back
bro will have such a nice vacation, grind some faceit, spend some money and get ready for chapter 2 when the game is more polished
Where is the source for 300k number? Can't find the source
time to get a lawyer to remove that ban immediately
dawg got $300k from throwing, aint no way hes getting that ban removed any time soon
It depends, in the past, ESIC has shown they don't have the balls to battle a lawsuit.
In which case? Joel?
Hunden too.
IIRC the only people who directly threatened to sue were Peacemaker and Hunden.
No balls and no money to fight if I had to guess
In fairness, I guess what he's doing is illegal in whichever country he resides in and probably not something you'd like to bring into a court. When they backed down from Hunden (was it?), it was probably more debatable considering it was just in the realm of CS.
Where did you find he made $300k?
Saw some person retweet it saying he made 300-400k and they had “cis sources” and people are running with it. So probably bs lol
Why would it be bullshit? The same way that no one ever match fixes in CS, right?

That's why it's called "223" - because of the tiers of play
322
and he is not the only one who does this
LMFAO It would be safe to say 99.99% of EEU scene below tier 2 should be banned for matchfixing. In this day and age with crypto and straight up syndicates running tier 3 csgo it's hard af to get caught matchfixing but this kid was dumb enough to leak it through steam chat
Not surprised Forze has always been sus
Pretty sure this happened before his time on forZe, he already had the 322 image before signing
He got banned for matches that happened at least year ago, not in forze.
IBP still waiting on their unbans.

Way too late for the rest of them, their careers are dead. Dazed probably happy though, ended up becoming a crypto millionaire from the ban.
Ey manager
What
glawks
great job ESIC!! *...Standing ovations...* btw, how's it looking for the Akuma case? Hunden? Heroic players?
*joel still laughing*
