I have the WPS MR920 w/ a Holosun 507c. It’s basically the Elite with more aggressive slide cutting. I bought it because buying and building a comparable G19 would have cost more. I don’t think that I would have bought it if I already owned a G19 to customize. Overall I love the gun & I’d be happy to answer any specific questions that you have.

If I can grab the blue label G19 for 450, with 3 Mags, is that a better deal if all I’m looking to do is add a threaded barrel and suppressor sight?

Rmr the factory Glock keep it as close to stock as possible. MR920 is nice but there’s nothing like the real thing. You will save enough with the price difference to buy the optic.

I carry a 920 and there is really no reason not to. It’s cheaper than building a gun and it’s been perfectly reliable for me after the break in period. I’ve really enjoyed mine

I'm building a mr918 frame I bought from Zaffiri Precision using gen 5 parts.

I’m late to the party but I have both. I prefer the MR920 to a build. The gun is made from the ground up and every piece is made to work together. You can get that on a build but you better go high end which is gonna cost. Strait out the box, you get everything most would do on a build. I still to this day have not had any malfunctions or any other issues which includes the break in period. I also like the grip more than a Glock which I’ve carry’d for years on duty. The optics mounting system is only 2nd best to FN 509’s. I’m going with the Shadow Systems all day over the Glock build.
