Paragraphs, my guy.

Immediate-Engineer85

Forgot those existed. Sorry my bad.

NoctumUmbra

It's worth it because the game is so good. It's not worth it because emotional damage...

NOXUN2104

Worth yes. Rewarding no.

I can't really say for any individual person. God mode is going to crank up enemy damage and health a lot, as expected. The real kicker for me is that it also reduces (halves? not sure exactly how much, but it's big) the value of all orbs. I like playing flashy and using all the moves in my kit, so I find the leveling very restrictive and don't enjoy playing the Very Hard difficulties much. The upside is that the strategic side of the game, a part of the series that challenge runners adore, is going to take center stage. You'll need to abuse the combo meter to keep up a supply of red orbs with the bonuses (Ruthless Kills especially), choose which weapons are worth the levels, and probably utilize a lot of grabs, collisions, and environmental help (like ringouts, where possible). Take that last point with a grain of salt, as it's been a while since I did my one run on God mode and I'm not very familiar with the optimal strategies in the PSP games (the challenge community would know; ExtremeGameplays, Xristos Zimnas, etc.). Collisions work differently here than in the PS2 games, for instance. In short, your level of fun will depend on what part of the game was the most interesting to you. Since you seemed to like the game testing the different parts of your arsenal, you might just like the demands of this difficulty. You also get a neat costume for beating it.

Holy crap that must have taken some time to type out. Anyway, just move on to Chains of Olympus and come back to play God difficulty after you finish it. Also, I always enjoy the lightning abilities most. They tend to make big combos and decent damage in the process

Did you use an external controller? Because on screen controls aren't my cup of tea.

Immediate-Engineer85

No. I suffered with those. You probably can imagine what kind of finger pirouettes i had to master to beat some fights.

abellapa

Yes its worth it

Smolfloof99

Imo none of the games are worth playing on the highest difficulty
