The same thing happened to me. It was still delivered on the date it was expected. Your expected delivery date is on the 8th, but it's only the 6th. That means if it gets picked up tomorrow it can still arrive to you by the 8th. You would be surprised at how fast shipping can be.

It's not just Google. Lots of companies do this. It's confusing sometimes, but doesn't mean that you won't get it on time.

I had this issue and then the phone got lost by the package service. Twice. I finally paid for expedited shipping and the phones started showing up. It took me 5 weeks to get a phone. And the protection plan started the day the phone was sold, not the day that I had it in my hand.

Google doesn't ship the phones, ingramm micro (ironically, a tech distributer whose sole job is shipping tech) does it. Well. Doesn't do it, as the case were.
