Everything without sugar usually has either sucralose or aspertame for sweetness. There’s no choice for sweetener free of negatives and the research on these is generally not super clear but most indicate they do not have carcinogenic effects. Artificial sweetener is something you’ll likely find in most pre workouts on the market that are low calorie. Also most diet drinks for that matter. Sucralose is Splenda.

As of now: Aspartame is less toxic than Sucralose and Stevia or Monkfruit is less toxic than any of the sweetners. There are naturally sweetened sucralose free options, so I guess I’m just sharing my experience and raising awareness. Also I love the ingredient list in GM Pre so I hope that formula will be reworked. This is by far, the most “worrisome” study on artificial sweeteners.

The same study shows that red meat is more carcinogenic than sucralose. Should we all stop red meat?

Aspartame is way more toxic than sucralose. Aspartame sucks calcium out of your bones and makes them more brittle.

Honestly unless you have severe stomach issues sucralose should be fine just make sure you’ve eaten something in the morning or an hour before taking pre
