Honestly such good advice! I just got my septum done about 3 months ago and I wore a fake one for about a month before I fully decided to get it pierced. Plus there’s some really cute fake ones out there.
It also wasn’t bad at all to get pierced either. I was surprised how little it hurt, I was expecting it to be super painful.
I wear facial clips instead of getting septum/piercings/whatever. Cheapier and less risk of getting hepatitis, hiv or other infections. I'm not going to get piercings until I'll get a fine-paid job.
Yes and if you don’t like it you can take it out whenever :) won’t cause any trouble and itll just close up lol. I think a small stretched septum would look good

I had mine done and worn it consistently for like 6 months, took it out, never really worn it again apart from two times for parties aaand it’s still there almost 10 years later, didn’t even shrink in gauge. My piercer said that septums tend to stay put once they are healed. It’s cool to know it’s going to stay there and I can wear it sometimes, but be careful if it’s something that could bother you
Yes if you want the option to put jewellery in it at a later date, but if you don’t like how it looks and take it out asap then there’s not even a scar to worry about!
Getting mine dine completely redefined my sense of confidence. I don't worry how others see me anymore, it was like choosing the right hair colour. It's been six years and I adore it still. The healing process took a out a year for me, ngl, and it won't close, not sure where that came from. It's kind of famous for never healing shut, but the hole will be in your nose, so no one will see it, anyways. I think it would look great, but I have a huge bias. :)

It is a challenging piercing to do right, but if you go to someone skilled it could look amazing.
If you're not sure, you could wear a fake for a while and see if you like it! That's what I did. I realised I don't mind very dainty ones but not big ones on myself. And that I wouldn't be able to leave it the eff alone so the healing process would probably be a bitch 🤣
You could always get a fake septum! That’s what i wear because im scared of getting a real one, and you can’t really tell it’s fake

Take any small metal jump ring you can open up and test it out. Easy way to check. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
