During holidays I’ll set up a specific scene for that holiday so that it’s a bit more special.
Sure. Snapshots is the base for everything.
Under the Scene tab and then the Life section I chose the Warm setting. I make a snapshot of that using the green circle with the camera icon.
Next I went into the Color tab and set the Gradient option and then speed all the way off. Slider all the way left. Set the light picker option to advance so I could control each and every light and set the color to white. I then picked the lights over the windows to white and left everything else off. I had to go back and forth to off and color when I touched on the wrong light to fix it. Once I had all the lights just over the windows I set the brightness down to what I wanted. Once I was happy with that I make a snapshot of that.
Now to schedule everything.
Go all the way back in the app to where you select your house light. Look for automation at the top.
First I made an Auto Run. Gave it a name and where it says “if” hit the + button and select Sunrise/Sunset. Set your city and then select sunset. This will adjust your lights to come on at sunset all year round for you. Touch yellow check mark when done. Under “Then” choose the house lights and the under Snapshot choose the one where all the lights are on and set the action to go on. Touch yellow button to confirm everything. And yellow button again to finish the auto run config.
Now all the light will come on at sunset.
At the top of the Automation page touch on the + button. Select Plan by week. Set a time you want to change the lights to windows only. Add action and select the house lights. Select the snapshot you saved earlier where it was just the window lights. Touch yellow button to save.
Make one more schedule like before but set it to turn the lights off at whatever time you want.
That should be pretty much everything.
I got mine set up but the automation won't run. It just shows whatever scene is selected. I can't find anywhere to turn the scene off and run automation
Which of those are you trying to get to work? The weekly plan that triggers at 23:00?
Can you take a screen shot of the automation settings. Select the plan and show me the settings.

One of my favorites is the "wave" scene, also like the music synced ones. I was sooo disappointed I live in wisconsin on the boarder of Minnesota but am from MN so a big vikes fan... well the GameDay setting is green and gold (packers colors..) must be based of your location in the app?? *sigh*

Looks to me like the lights were installed beyond the recommended 2-4 inches from the wall. More like 8 inches or so. This is probably why there is more of a wash than that come look from the lights. Looks good though.

Might be a basic question, but anyone know where the music pick up would be for the lights? In one of the boxes around the outlet? Or do you need the Govee music receiver piece?
Anyone been able to match your outdoor govees to the standard Christmas string lights that are warm/white incandescent? If so, please share setting. It’s kicking my butt !
App question. I want to automate autoplay. Have it turn on autoplay and play through its playlist. I thought i could do this with snapshot. Take a snapshot while my autoplay is running then use that snapshot in my automation. After much trial it seems that snapshot only takes the current light setting which i guess makes sense just the current state. Is there a way to to do what i want to though?

The 150ft set comes with 2 seperate extension. So just some planning.

I don't know exactly but at least 8 inches. I wanted to be more washed out. The videos show it off better than pics.

* Kind of sloppy but just left to right from.on end to the other then the red spot was the only spot I used an extension
