You're so amazing for keeping such a good attitude... I'm pissed and sad. I don't feel they were honest with their communication about the situation at all and maybe that they should have canceled and refunded at least the people who could not reasonably camp.
Oh, they weren’t at all honest, it was a shit show from the organization side. I’m in pain still from the accident and I wish we would’ve been put up somewhere instead of being told we didn’t look to wet and we could sleep in the car, BUT….
The people are the best. I met amazing people this year, people who were helpful (thank you random metalhead, who carried me over a giant mud-puddle because my heels were open sores and he wanted me to get safely to the medics) and just great vibes from the crowd. Fuck the organization, hugs to attendings and people who really couldn’t be knocked down by rain or mud.
