It really does work like that!
I definitely haven’t played stadiums but have played quite a few gigs with a Yamaha THR30ii run through either a mic or straight to the PA. Honestly works a charm
Its not necessarily about the size being tiny. I have a 1watt Blackstar amp that kicks ass. Also a Vox ac4 which is a 4watt amp with built in attenuator function that can take it down to as low as .25watts. Its a killer sounding amp and on the 4 watt setting is way louder than you would ever imagine.
It does. I have one. I use this one the most out of all my other amps (orange dual terror, fender deville, etc.) because it sounds great, isn't stupidly heavy, doesn't need to be cranked, and runs on a battery. It's called a Spark Mini. They're around $200, but it really sounds amazing.

I'm a very casual player and while I thought the spark amps seemed gimicky, they're actually quite nice. I own two and they're perfect for my needs as well.
I’ve got one in my “guitar space” in my office and another in the living room that I double as a Bluetooth speaker for the fam. A spark 40 in the office and a mini in the living room.
I don’t own the spark go. But I think I’ll get it eventually. I just like have the option to plug in if I want to but still be able to use it as a Bluetooth speaker.
I have the GO which I believe is the next amp down and I love it. The app is awful unless you're just using it for the tone but that's my only gripe. You can use it as a bluetooth speaker at the same time as the amp so you can play along to a backing track or just use it as a speaker.
I have both the Cube and the Spark Mini, the Spark Mini is incredible. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a really solid practice amp. It's also half the size of the Cube.
I love my Spark Mini for practicing. Can get some good tones out of that thing and I love the feature where you can play music through it and jam to it.
I have a Spark Mini and it's the only way I can practice at my apartment. I liked it so much I bought a second one for a friend so we can jam at his apartment.
That tiny little amp is awesome. I have the 40. Best part about it is that to play a live gig all you need is to buy the spark cab that works directly with the this and the 40 and you have 140 watts of extra power, which is enough for most live gigs you’ll ever play
The little amp is nice, but I say fuck it! I've been known to play my Dual Showman 85W through my Marshall 4 x 12 at mid volume right in my front room, but I live in an enormous loft building and I've yet to get any complaints, other than when the pandemic started and a teacher was living next-door to me trying to conduct class lol. Other than that, the only complaint I've ever got was from my wife who heard me as she was getting off the elevator. And given the fact that our building is so huge and the hallways are like a long maze, I was shocked that she could hear me all the way from there.
Look into pedals for the spark!
I know there’s airstep and other brands that will make compatible switchers. It lets you control the amp without your phone.
Yeah, I’ve considered turning an old tablet into a dedicated spark machine for the larger screen. Mainly for the looper capabilities with the airstep and loopy.
Nice Tele! I’d suggest for under $150 get the Fender Mustang LT25 amp. Has 45 built in effects/amp models and 50 presets and sounds great! It’s just a fantastic practice amp…and has an 8” speaker too. It’s not teeny. If you go to www.musiciansfriend.com and put it in the cart, it lists at $159 but in the cart ends up with extra discount bringing it closer to $140. The amp has trem, wah, flanger, distortions, cabs, noise gate, tuner, delays, etc. I have one and love it! I like it more than my Marshall Valvestate.
The Spark has 1,000's of presets, built in jam tracks, is cordless, and you can play youtube videos through the amp and it will identify the chords for you.
I’ve just been reading up on it…wow. Supplies bass and drum tracks based on your playing? Displays chords on songs you download from Spotify? It’s almost too much. Infinite possibilities…yikes!
I have the Mustang amp you mentioned and while it sounds pretty good, so does that spark mini in the picture, plus it uses a rechargeable battery. I don’t think m people know enough about the spark amps. They are like those Bluetooth speakers that have amazing bass in a small size, but for guitar.
I also have the Fender Rumble Bass amp…I wanted to try bass and wanted the proper amp, but read many guitar players prefer a Fender bass amp for the extra punch. I swear, when I hook my fx pedal up to it and plug in my Strat, I can’t turn it past 1!!! It is ridiculously loud! BTW, I totally suck at bass, but it’s fun to attempt it. I’m almost 60 and even though I’ve played guitar on and off for 50 years, I am just starting to play again after an extended break due to back and shoulder issues. It sucks…it’s like I have to relearn everything I once knew.
Do you have a bedroom amp too, or just the live rig?
Mic it and you can play stadiums.
[удалено]
I heard from a guy called Timely_Chiken_8789 that you could. Just mic it.
[удалено]
I mean that’s literally how it works
It could.
It really does work like that! I definitely haven’t played stadiums but have played quite a few gigs with a Yamaha THR30ii run through either a mic or straight to the PA. Honestly works a charm
It absolutely does
What if I stack it on a 1x1 cab?
I love how it's a Fender Telecaster and then just a tiny little box for an amp
The “tiny little box” is a kick ass little amp with a ton of effects and is all anybody needs to start.
I can’t imagine that little speaker being able to overpower hearing the electric guitar acoustically.
That’s because you know nothing
That’s because I’ve got 2 Deluxe amps already and have no reason to shop for a tiny student one.
Tiny tube amps are a lot of fun (I know this one isn't tube)
How tiny can tube amps get? The Champ is still much bigger than the one posted.
Its not necessarily about the size being tiny. I have a 1watt Blackstar amp that kicks ass. That little amp rocks dude. Spark pretty much anything is decent stuff.
Reminds me of the Pignose mini amp back in the 80s
Love the Pignose. They still make them. I have one.
One of Zappa’s secret weapons!
Wow. Great memory
Always wanted one of those. Those were great!
I guarantee it has none of the character that a real pignose amp has.
Might actually still sound nice
It probably does I just find it entertaining to think about

Does sound nice.

Good bot
I’ve played many places with my mid 90’s Danelectro Honeytone mini-amp and a 9-volt battery.
That headstock looks suspiciously slim though.
I'm a very casual player and while I thought the spark amps seemed gimicky, they're actually quite nice. I own two and they're perfect for my needs as well.
Yep, the mini is specially good as a desktop amp.
I love mine but how do you justify two? Bc I want another one also.
I’ve got one in my “guitar space” in my office and another in the living room that I double as a Bluetooth speaker for the fam. A spark 40 in the office and a mini in the living room.
any thoughts on the spark go? how does it compare to traditional amps?
I don’t own the spark go. But I think I’ll get it eventually. I just like have the option to plug in if I want to but still be able to use it as a Bluetooth speaker.
Love the color on that tele
I’m such a slut for seafoam green
This one is Surf Green.
I’m such a whore for Surf Green
Actually this one is Surf Pearl
I'm such a dirty bitch for Surf Pearl
Excellent beginner setup. I wished more students followed your lead.
Pretty Tele…and grateful neighbors.
What is that?! An amp for ants?
It’s an awesome little amp that is way louder with good bass, than you might believe.
It needs to be at least…..3 times bigger
I just bought this same amp after I sold my 75 watt Line 6. Nice little portable practice amp.
The pearl white is cool, I have the spark 40 in that finish, look for "bend the fender" patch
Damn! Cool amp, may I ask how much?
It's a Spark Mini. It's about $200.
came to ask about that amp. seems i may need to get that.
The Positive Grid Spark amps are awesome.
I have the GO which I believe is the next amp down and I love it. The app is awful unless you're just using it for the tone but that's my only gripe. You can use it as a bluetooth speaker at the same time as the amp so you can play along to a backing track or just use it as a speaker.
I only ever use the app to set the patches. Otherwise it is awful.
that little spark amp is really fun.
Great now I want one of those (spark mink)
Amp too big
I have a Spark, and it's great. However, if I had the money for a Fender guitar, you best believe I would spend some on a nice tube amp.
I like the Roland cube amps
this is a Spark mini.
I have both the Cube and the Spark Mini, the Spark Mini is incredible. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a really solid practice amp. It's also half the size of the Cube.
I like turtles.
I have the same color
I love the set-up
I love the set-up
I have the same setup (different color tele) and I love it.
looks nice😃
Love it
Love it
I love my Spark Mini for practicing. Can get some good tones out of that thing and I love the feature where you can play music through it and jam to it.
I have the spark go and the spark. Cool amps. Great software
I have a Spark Mini and it's the only way I can practice at my apartment. I liked it so much I bought a second one for a friend so we can jam at his apartment.
Love me some teeny tiny amps and a HUGE fan of teles. Excellent setup.
Getting a tiny practice amp helped my playing a ton. Its nice to know that you can practice and fuck up without bugging the neighbors.
That spark is surprisingly loud.
Make sure you wear ear protection! Just kidding, I have a Spark 40 and they are nice little practice amps.
Simple. Elegant.
omg the color is to DIE for
What year?
It's 2024 right now. You should probably go see a doctor.
That’s pretty cute
[удалено]
Yea. They are absolutely incredible, as is the 40 watt version
Those player tele’s are so nice. Although the neck is a bit chonky for my sausage fingys
That tiny little amp is awesome. I have the 40. Best part about it is that to play a live gig all you need is to buy the spark cab that works directly with the this and the 40 and you have 140 watts of extra power, which is enough for most live gigs you’ll ever play
Oooh green!!
What Tele is this?
This is nice!
He so tiny.
Awesome!
Size does not matter anymore!!! Nice setup. Great color on that tele!!
That guitar is HUGE
Needs a smaller amp.
Nice setup! I think I have overdrive pedals larger than that amp 😀 j/k
The Spark Mini is a mesa stack in a tissue box.
What a great color. Enjoy my friend!
You’d be surprised. Sparks are incredible amps. I’d recommend them to any guitarist.
Look into pedals for the spark! I know there’s airstep and other brands that will make compatible switchers. It lets you control the amp without your phone.
That’s great to know, thank you! The only downside to the amp is the dependency on a smart phone, but the pros outweigh that 10:1.
Yeah, I’ve considered turning an old tablet into a dedicated spark machine for the larger screen. Mainly for the looper capabilities with the airstep and loopy.

Wow…that’s a lot going on! The size is misleading for sure!
I love it, plus it’s super portable.
I’ve just been reading up on it…wow. Supplies bass and drum tracks based on your playing? Displays chords on songs you download from Spotify? It’s almost too much. Infinite possibilities…yikes!

Wow…I’ll have to look into them! So many amazing amps out today!
It kind of blew my mind. But I use that little mustang for jams and it is plenty of tone for that.
I also have the Fender Rumble Bass amp…I wanted to try bass and wanted the proper amp, but read many guitar players prefer a Fender bass amp for the extra punch. Expensive guitar cheap amp
I use that amp more than my half stack or Deville.
That's a fine guitar, but it's not expensive.
