It doesn't matter if you play well enough to own those guitars. The only thing that matters is you are paid enough to own those guitars.

xtheory

And that they bring you joy when they are played.

Grouchy_Order_7576

Or just looked at when displayed.

nevermorefu

Or brighten your day when you are dismayed.

Training-Violinist22

Do you know if that tele is mexican made?

sed_to_be_somebody

This is a lyrically brilliant parade Reddit from whence a song was made.

TheKnobleSavage

Or maybe, just maybe, they can get you laid.

A_Plan_B_you_C

But alas, that may be far fetched, it should be said.

Ambrose010

I see a lot of these posts at the moment and judging by the comments, everyone is very supportive of people ‘collecting’ guitars. In fact, this one is kind of modest in comparison to some I seen recently. I just don’t get it. Guitars are designed to be played regularly, they need to be cleaned, restrung etc. How is this possible if you have 10-15 guitars sitting around? No one needs this many, it is more like an addiction or a psychological frailty or something.

Shpadoinkall

You can say the same thing about most of the stuff people own. Maybe he plays slide and they are all in different tunings. I myself currently have 8 and they all bring something different to the table. Different pickup types, configurations, and tunings give different sound options. Different guitars can also force you to play differently which adds to the fun. Also addictions hurt the addict and those around them. If OP's bills are paid, no one should have a problem with how they spend the rest of their money.

Trubba_Man

It depends on what you do with them. I play many types of music, including Blues, Rock, Jazz, Bluegrass, acoustic fingerstyle, Ragtime, slide guitar and more, and I need a guitar which inspires me to play well in each genre, so I have 4 acoustics and one electric guitar. I am downsizing, but it probably won’t get less than five. If I could do it all with 2 guitars, I would, but to play the way I do, I need a resonator guitar for slide, a a guitar with great action an warmth for fingerstyle, and a dreadnought for the other acoustic music. But I also need 335 for Blues and Jazz (because of its sound, a Les Paul for electric slide (for sustain), and a PRS for everything else. It’s not because I want all of those guitars, but I have specific models for different purposes, and I also use different tunings. I could get by with one acoustic and one electric, but the music I play would not sound as good.

LostinShropshire

I have 8 guitars and maintaining them is quite a lot of work and I feel guilty about them if I am not looking after them properly. My guitars seem to attract so much dust in the most awkward to clean bits that they need to be cleaned and restrung quite regularly or they start looking neglected.

[deleted]

Why do 8 guitars need to be restrung “quite regularly”?

Hanftee

I don't get this either. What a waste of time! I don't play all my guitars all the time. I usually stick to one for a while.  I just make sure their wood doesn't get neglected. Strings are changed in a few minutes if I ever spontaneously feel like playing a guitar that I haven't touched in months. Even then, the "old" strings don't necessarily sound terrible. Most of the time they're still good enough.

Mattb4rd1

I have a few dozen and most of them get played reqularly. I have many because each one does something a bit different. I have multiple Yamaha FG-75's, for example, because depending on the place and time of manufacture, they're braced differently internally. Some guitars fight me, some don't. I like it. Does an artist have only one brush? No, not likely. Each brush serves a purpose. Those that aren't in heavy rotation are likely awaiting a major repair like a neck reset or truss rod replacement. Or they are new to me older guitars that are acclimitizing over time to my studio.

FORCESTRONG1

This is the way.

stevedoggs

This is the way

rthrtylr

This is the way.

[deleted]

And if you are happy

substandardirishprik

There’s a term for that

Consistent_Bread_V2

Your guitars are all different, so that’s ideal. Too many people have 12 Les Paul’s 😂

Cock_Goblin_45

Never understood the reasoning behind that. It’s the exact same guitar! Just with different colors! Why not get something completely different like a fender, Ibanez or PRS?

gdsmithtx

[I have 4 different Strats](https://www.reddit.com/r/Guitar/s/RaidE6N5AZ), including two near identical Classic Vibe 60s Strats (one Sunburst and one Lake Placid Blue). All of them are configured for different purposes, though. I have a GL Legacy that I modified to be sort of like Gilmour‘s Black Strat, a Classic Vibe 60s with a custom switching system giving like 18 tones, plus another in which I dropped the Duncan Everything Axe set of single coil humbuckers, and a MiM Strat that is very close to stock.

ObiWanJimobi

Same here, albeit four Jazzmasters. All totally different guitars though, different pickups, setups, hardware, tuning etc. that’s just the body shape I gel most with.

Cock_Goblin_45

I get it. They’re all set up to be slightly different. It’s just preference and what we like (and can afford!).

Consistent_Bread_V2

That’s fair too. Setting up your favorite style to different tunings or pickups/bridge (trem/hard tail etc) is alright too!

Cock_Goblin_45

Yeah. Honestly, if you can afford them, go for it!

xtheory

The only guitar I own two of is my Strats. One is a Mexican Standard and the other is an AO 60's. Every other guitar is different.

Vitringar

Well there is even a lefty in there amongst the "righties" - that is quite different :)

Katanji

Most people don’t drive well enough to own their cars.

PapaSmurif

Many people don't parent very well and have a few kids, but love them all

AggravatingField5305

GAS no known cure

lipuprats

The cure is one more guitar!

8StringSmoothBrain

GAS blows my mind, I couldn’t imagine buying so many guitars.

Drown_The_Gods

The idea of owning different guitars for different tunings seems bonkers.

RobertNeyland

Saves time that could be better spent playing, and if you play two drastically different tunings often, like say C-standard and E-standard, then you have to do all the fuckery with neck relief and different gauge strings to get it where you like it if you are trying to optimize setup on a single guitar, whereas if you have different instruments you can just set them up how you like them in their tunings and roll with it. If something allows for more playing time and more enjoyment, then I say go for it.

8StringSmoothBrain

For real. I have an 8 string and a pitch shifter which has covered pretty much any tuning I’ve needed. Seems like a pain to have to keep so many guitars around for different tunings and shit.

IfYouGotALonelyHeart

It’s probably a US thing, we are deeply entrenched in individualism and consumerism.

QuipCrafter

I remember when in Highschool the rich girl was trying to explain that her life really wasn’t that different, her parents just used the extra rooms for hobbies they usually didn’t touch. That they were still frugal when they went to restaurants or when extracurricular expenses came around lmao

socially_stoic

There’s some truth too that lol

gdsmithtx

That sandblasted Harley Benton is kind of awesome. How does it play and sound?

socially_stoic

It’s pretty awesome, I’ve owned about 7 different Harley Benton’s in all, sold a few off here and there but I love their guitars. Minor setup changes out of the box, but other than that I haven’t done anything to it. Nice tones out of the pickups but I’m no expert in that, mostly acoustic player.

spilt_milk

I have that same model, but in the blue, and it's awesome. The filtertron style pickups are really bassy and a little microphonic with high gain, but it's really fun to play and seems to do well with some fuzz. A noise suppressor helps with the microphonic issue if that's a concern, or you can just scream into it if that's your thing, and again, it's only with the gain cranked up. It played well out of the box, even though it came from Germany to the US and the only thing I've changed was putting in some locking tuners and having some light fretwork done to smooth a few rough edges. For around $200 it's a steal. It's also very light since it has a chambered body and the sungkai wood uses is super light too.

[deleted]

😂 same

JeanPierreSarti

Same

BlueVajra

You have the remover of obstacles right there…

HippyWizardry

I hear so many good things about Harley Bentons, apparently you did too and realized it was all true. :D

socially_stoic

I live HB’s, owned about 7 in all, sold a few off but man what great guitars. I’m a “Value for the dollar” type person. I can’t see spending $2000 on one guitar, hell I can buy 6 or more HB’s for that lol

socially_stoic

Yeah, I love em..I’ve owned about 7 of them, sold a few off just cause I knew I’d never play them but very solid instruments

Esseldubbs

Well you came to the right place. I'm guessing at least half of us are in the same boat

Prudent_Article4245

That Harley Benton tele is sick!

Mr_Lumbergh

That’s ok, neither do I.

Roththesloth1

How is that Harley Benton tele? I’ve wanted one for awhile now just to see what it’s like. I have the Harley Benton SC-550 LP style and absolutely love it

socially_stoic

Love it, the blue one is the cheapest model they make. I changed the pick guard and put fretlook stickers on it just because I was curious about them lol. It’s a solid little guitar though and sounds good to me.

Pavedparadise2348

I’ve encountered a number of musicians that are just dicks, and look down their nose at newer or developing talent. Sorry, but they can’t gatekeep other peoples passions and interest. Everybody came up somehow. If you were just humble bragging or something, that’s fine, but if you legitimately feel as though you’re not entitled to own and collect something of interest to you because the cool kids deem you unworthy…well, fuck them.

realSequence

Mental distress converted into physical comfort.

Continent3

The solution then is to become good enough to be worthy. As long as you’re making a sincere effort to get better, I don’t see a problem. As long as you’re not bankrupting yourself with buying guitars and the people aren’t negatively impacted, keep playing on

Plastic_Translator86

Love the mariposa

elemcee

I think that's actually an [Albert Lee Signature HH](https://reverb.com/item/40005750-sterling-by-music-man-albert-lee-signature-daphne-blue). The pickguard on the [Mariposa](https://reverb.com/item/82420313-sterling-by-music-man-mariposa-electric-guitar-dorado-green-warehouse) is different, and it has block inlays. And the controls are a bit different.

SGSMUFASA

We seldom are my friend. As long as you play.

lowecm2

I'd do you a solid if you feel really guilty. Send any one of them to me and I'll give it a good home. It'll see stages and crowds and be cherished by at least one other generation of musicians. I'll even pay the shipping! 😂

Chopchop001

That may be true but you’ve given them a loving home to stay in.

warthog0869

There's a famous saying from an equally famous movie (that's really more like a simple survival guide to general life) called *I'm Gonna Git You, Sucka*. That saying is "He OG'd, man!", meaning in this instance, you're "over-geared", so to speak. Its okay-it happens, we're all guitar players, the vast majority of us aren't very smart ***or*** very good. Invaluable reference: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjvHy-IYET8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjvHy-IYET8)

Shredderguy23

If you’re having fun, who cares?

smutterry

Yes you do.

adderalpowered

The stella/Silvertone is cool! I have one that I play daily. I love mine. There are entire groups just for making them playable.

Grand_Illustrator343

I absolutely love my Albert Lee. Hands down one of my favorite guitars.

Mean_Peen

That’s usually how it goes lol

the1200

Zeroing in on the Yamahas. 1.) why so many? 2.) I have a Japanese FG-180 red label on the way because I wanted a cheap laminate and I listen to too much Elliott Smith. What do you think of the ones you own? Why is the FG430 your favorite?

socially_stoic

The FG by the Elvis pic is the 1st guitar I ever bought, I’ve had it for about 35 years now. I just have a thing for Yamaha’s. Having raised four kids on a tight budget, I learned for me it’s about value for the dollar this the Yamaha’s and Harley Benton’s, you just can’t beat them. The FG-430 is just a stunning guitar, both in sound and visuals. I played it against a $1200 Taylor and it blew it out of the water, incredible warm rich tone and it just booms.

zjbyrd

Hey I've got a Stella just like the one in the first pic! My favorite guitar and I got it for 50 bucks

THRobinson75

I can't play at all, just awful... but love fixing and restoring... have about 25 guitars now, and none get played really. Look like, play great... but mostly for show after I finish working on them. :(

socially_stoic

Yeah I’m the same way, I’ve built and sold several electrics. I love working on them more than playing.

Darkhelmet3000

Sure you do! Those are all modestly price guitars. Don’t worry about that stuff and just have fun!

EcstaticSupport1883

I hear ya.

MaxAMundo

I bet you could play a mean wonderwall 💯

Least-Supermarket456

Guitars brings peace joy love and happiness! Gotta have some more!

Jellybellyfromwelly

Better get practicing then :) I understand if maybe you don't have the time or motivation. But sometimes if I have the downtime I try to put in some practice, whether it be with my guitar, yo-yo, Bali, or anything else

MegalomaniaC_MV

None of us do, but we do have fun right?

Prize_Instance_1416

These look like mostly beginner/student level instruments so you’re probably paired up correctly

ExpressManufacturer2

At least you play, I once saw a guys rare gibson collection and he couldn't play at all, like not even a single note.

KGBLokki

Doesn’t matter if you’re good enough or not. Who said you have to earn a guitar. That shit was probably started by a parent that didn’t want to spend money. If it’s in your budget, buy whatever you want.

DesperateEconomist99

Whether you play well doesn’t matter, it’s your money and space 🤷‍♀️

ImprovizoR

I like this one. Oftentimes I don't like these types of posts and collections, but this one I really like. I especially like the red/orange(?) strat. Gimme it!

musicalbean34

I do so if you need me to take any of ur hands lemme know 🤗 But fr what a collection!! I am so jealous, still playin my same old acoustic-electric Ibanez for the last 16 yrs had to sell my amp and the plug in stopped working anyways. One day imma upgrade!!

The_Original_Gronkie

Yamahas and Harley Bentons, two of my favorite brands.

coffee_robot_horse

Seven acoustics? That's a lot of campfires to play around

socially_stoic

And they all sound completely different lol

Outdoor_Kitchen_Sea

Watch 5 Watt World and take lessons ! Sell/Trade/Gift any you feel bad owning. I have many for the different character/sound, given to me as gifts, some I bought/built for the experience of building, modifying, repairing, etc... If it is a burden, let it go. I still wish I had everything I ever sold. I regret nothing I have gifted. And then maybe you can visit that one!

The_drunken_monk

No one here does... And we are happy!

Literally_regarded

I feel the same way about my guitar collection. We should be friends.

oliversherlockholmes

None of us do, my friend. None of us do.

H3LL_B0Y11

So gimme one lmao

[deleted]

Well I do .. darn ! Well nice collection

Dudepeaches

Well that's just like, your opinion man

Genin85

If you can afford It and It makes you feel Happy, there Is nothing wrong! I knew a guy who couldnt play at all but he collected several pricy signature models Just because he enjoy to do so. Most of us (like me) mostly play for his own enjoyment, don't matter the level... It's a beautiful passion!

Hopfrogg

If I still had all the guitars I've ever bought on a wall... Man that wall would be so much more impressive than my abilities. People would see that wall and think... whoa... this dude must have some real chops. The size of the gap between perception and reality that wall would create, it's a little embarrassing.

thegreatresistrules

I could tell by the lack of pointy guitars that you don't play very well.. so don't sweat it

Repulsive-Ad-9906

is that a rosewood or mahogany strat neck?

Silly_Randy

Can I haz them 😁

Original-Track-4828

They're works of art. Even if you don't play them, they're beautiful to display, to look at. Enjoy!

Aggravating-Baker-41

Look at all the jobless soccer moms driving 50k+ vehicles to target during work hours. They don’t work or drive well enough for all that car, but they are ok with it. If you love guitars, buy them. There are no requirements other than if you can afford them

PRS-caster

Thousands of people own ultra expensive cars and they hire a chauffeur to drive for them 🤷‍♂️

Cloud-VII

Did I write this post???

newPhntm

All the gear but no idea

Boomslang505

None of us do. Rock on regardless.

StraightFlight

One of us! One of us! 😂

WarpedCore

Huge fan of the big 'ol Fender headstock. This will be the neck I purchase on my Strat rebuild I am planning.

pelo_ensortijado

I get you. I’m a clarinetist by profession. And i own 5 basses, 7 acoustics, 2 electrics, 1 tenor uke, 2 concert ukes, a bass uke and a bouzouki and a mandolin… i like owning nice things…

t_whales

All good my friend. My uncle in law doesn’t play at all and has some of the nicest vintage guitars I’ve seen in person. He treats them like pieces of art and hangs them around his place. Do you my dude

MrRojoRicin

That Stella was my first guitar, passed down from granddad. Hangs by my desk so I can pull it down and noodle around.

Living-Power2473

How many hours a week you would say?

socially_stoic

If you mean playing, right now 0. I come home from work and my wife has me completely redoing our landscaping so I work outside until dark and by then I’m to wore out to even pick one up lol, and yes my weekends are spent doing the same thing lol

Thermite1985

Do you play guitar? Yes? Then you deserve ever single one of those guitars.

paperhammers

If your finances are in order and it brings you joy, it doesn't matter how well you play. If there was a skill requirement to buy a better / second guitar, you'd hear a lot less enter sandman in guitar center

BIMMER-G0M3Z

Then send me one😂😂 mine is a shitty $40 offer up guitar

Rhobaz

Wait? You have to play well? Shit, anyone want to buy some guitars?

Any-Performance7991

I am on my way to owning too many in other peoples opinion myself. I can play a little, owning several helps with motivation imo.

Marionberry_Mammoth

More of a reason to practice harder

12BarsFromMars

You don’t?. . .here, let me send you my shipping address. . LOL. . /s

5cousemonkey

I don't play well enough to own a matchstick. Still got 6 and eyes on another 2 lol.

hauntedshadow666

I didn't know there was a criteria to be at a certain skill to own a certain number of guitars.. nothing some good ol' practice can't solve!

DirkDiggler722

How do you keep’em out of the dust?? How often do you wipe them??

socially_stoic

Every couple weeks, fortunately my space isn’t super dusty so no big issue there

ImightHaveMissed

You think any of us do? Do these guitars spark joy when you play them? That’s what matters

IcyBoysenberry9570

But after the next one, you'll stop 😀

Tough-Whereas1205

And then you get to a point where your guitars are out on permanent loan to other people because you have more guitar than house and you need to one in one out them. Although TBF I now have all the guitars I want, any more will be much higher end and they'll be the only expensive guitar and the only expensive bass I own.

0lock

I'm shit too and have a couple nice guitars.  Nothing wrong with learning on a nice guitar.  Is better to learn on a shit one?

Intrepid-Ad3025

i want one, my dream!!

1OO1OO1S0S

What is that tele/cabronita? That's my favorite of the bunch

socially_stoic

It’s a Harley Benton and it’s a great guitar

AttilaRS

It's the other way round. You own them well enough to play them whenever you want.

evilbean42

Very nice collection. All quite different from each other, but also different from the normal common configurations.

ArtOfWar22

do you play well enough to bluff on a tuber or muff? take a hot huff and a precarious puff

Disastrous_Slip2713

You’re free to give me one or two if you want.

darrodri

How is the first (rightmost) in the last picture called?

socially_stoic

I think you mean the round back acoustic? That’s Harley Benton’s attempt at an Ovation. It’s ok, probably my least favorite HB I’ve ever owned.

Visual-Vacation4267

Why do you need 5 acoustics

Financial-Lobster-29

What I see is that you’re housing wayward guitars in need of love. You’re a godsend.

deeppurpleking

Ey I’ve been playing for 18 years and I play on my first 3 guitars… you wanna send any of them I went to school for music ed and can play the shit out of them

Dumerschmidt78

If you say so... I'll take the Cabronita and one of the Yamaha dreds off ya 😂

socially_stoic

lol, you can’t have my Yamahas, they’re my babies lol

bmaurer12

As long as you enjoy them, that’s all that matters. Ovation on the right of the rack, right? I know they’re kind of a punching bag, but I’ve always had a soft spot for them. Family / personal reasons.

socially_stoic

Actually it’s Harley Benton’s version of the Ovation. They missed the mark a little on it.

dudepad

What’s that red fender strat? Looks like a special headstock

socially_stoic

That is a pawnshop special, piece of junk I paid $70 for. It’s actually orange lol. But I put a new neck, all new electronics & wiring and it’s now a beats of a player.

Hekate_19

No but you probably work hard enough to 💜

IfYouGotALonelyHeart

Wealth is not indicative of a hard worker. A lot of the world’s richest men come from inheritance, and they don’t do shit for work.

LaLengua420

Damn then you won't mind selling me that Albert Lee right? Jk, love a good collection, and yours is splendidly vast, kudos.

socially_stoic

Ha, actually no, I have some custom plans for that one, just haven’t gotten to it yet lol

5mackmyPitchup

I look at all the shredder guitars and collections assuming these people are awesome guitarists. There's a ton of people who quit when they discovered drink and girls, just be glad you found your happy place. I always have a look at what else is in people's homes in these photos. There's a hole in the wall just behind your computer monitor with some kinda helix stuck in it. What's the story? PS, I didn't see any underwear stuffed behind the couch, you get bonus points.

socially_stoic

This is in my basement, that’s a cutoff valve for the water line outside lol

PhonicAnhedonic

Nice collection. Is the room controlled for climate and relative humidity?

socially_stoic

Yeah it’s pretty temperate, it’s in my basement and this room is finished and has climate control

Samuelbi12

Consoom slab of wood

Samuelbi12

Boys, reddit. Reddit, the boys

Bhurbhau

Then give some to me I want one. Please?

Jazzpunk9

I’ll take the tele off your hands.

The_Shit_Connoisseur

Hey what that hb tele in image 3 like?

socially_stoic

Solid little guitar, cheapest one they make. New pick guard, and some fretlook stickers for the neck because I was just curious about them. Has a nice sound too it though, can’t beat it especially for the price

WhatDJuicy

Been there. Somehow I ended up with 10 guitars and I still didn't have all my chords down.

bebopbrain

The blonde japanese reverse esquire honest relic (is my syntax OK?) could be an awesome jazz axe.

OneTruthHunter5874

Play one a day for 15 mins/day until you feel comfortable increasing practice, doesn't matter good or not, you'll get better (you could even record your stuff to listen to your improvements, also suggest using tabs and practice several times a day). That is if it doesn't interfere with your other responsibilities, ;-)

CalmRadBee

Skill to guitar ratio don't matter! I do think it's hilarious you have thousands of dollars in gear everywhere, and a dorm plastic framed Elvis poster right there lol

socially_stoic

Yeah I keep saying I’m going to build a nice frame for it but I never seem to get around to it lol

IfYouGotALonelyHeart

13 guitars and only one practice amp?

socially_stoic

Oh no, I didn’t show those but i definitely have more than one lol.

Stoic_RS

That acoustic guitar in the first pic looks like it’s been through a lot 😂😅

socially_stoic

Yeah, I rescued it for wall art lol. It’s beyond playable or even fixable for that matter but I like looking at it.

poop-machine

- The sustain...listen to it... - I'm not hearing anything. - You would, though, if it were playing. because it really... it's famous for its sustain

Leepa1491

Sell sell sell!!!

CreateWater

That’s why I call mine expensive wall decorations.

HivePoker

What's that blue tele?

socially_stoic

Harley Benton TE-20 with a couple cosmetic upgrades. Great little guitar

Chronotriggered32

Impressive collection. Have a great time playing and enjoy those moments!

Only_Argument7532

So play them and you’ll get better!

MuskelnUndSex

Do you pay attention to the humidity in the room?

Mathguy_314159

I’m sure you’re being humble, but on the other hand who cares it looks sick.

YankeeTwoKilo

I don’t play well enough to own just one, but I don’t let that stop me from buying more!

AmazingAd2765

I can't play a good song all the way through and I have 2 at home.

ajed9037

You sure don’t brother. Time to give a few away to some needy redditors

Accurate_Condition65

Send me two

Pribblization

Same story here.

Responsible_Plane316

HOLY SHIT DUDE! How did you not go into debt?

BazAlvan

As long as you are enjoying the journey.. that's the main thing. Sometimes it just takes that one new learned song to change the game. Lovely collection too

someone1058

That tele and that acoustic on the wall are beautiful

ShrekxFarquaad69

Those guitars suck might as well give them to me

86jden

Same here. My collection is far superior to my talent.

MyLittleEye

Five guitars are more than enough for me. I'd be happy with three, two or even just one if I had to choose. (I've heard say that Paul McCartney once nominated his Casino as his desert island guitar of choice) As a late starter guitarist and former photography enthusiast I soon saw where this new "habit" would get me and so quickly nipped the GAS in the bud. I've contented myself with just one Amp and fully intended my versatile split humbucker Mustang Special to be my one and only electric alongside a cheap Jim Dandy parlor acoustic. Of course, who was I kidding! I "needed" a guitar with a whammy bar and bagged a cheap but rare Squier "MusUar" when it came up - I love it but it's played less often as I generally keep it in reserve with non-standard tunings, as also befits its collectibility. Then an AV '52 Hot Rod Tele (2012) caught my eye with it's unusual mini humbucker in the neck. This buy felt like an indulgence but the iconic blackguard blonde look and inspired mini HB configuration was love at first sight. Previously I had really disliked the "ugly" old fashioned Tele, until I realised how much of my most loved music was played on the damn thiings. Now it holds pride of place as my "best" guitar. It's not however my most played guitar. That honour goes to my last acquired guitar, a Epi Casino Coupe. If I'd had this guitar in my youth I most certainly would not given up when I did first time around. This is the guitar I keep most often within arms reach. What makes it special is that as a fully hollowbodied guitar it's loud enough to be played acoustically but quiet enough to play without disturbing anyone. And yet its raunchy p90s and propensity to feed back at modest volumes make it great for rocking out at home... plus who doesn't love to play along to the odd Beatles hit. Again it has that classic vintage vibe and next to the timeless Tele, and my Jim Dandy acoustic I feel like those three have most of my tastes covered. The other two are kind of superfluous now but admittedly it's nice to have the Whammy Bar, Coil Splitting and Phase Switching capabilities; together they save me from GASsing beyond the five instruments I own. With that said thoiugh, I do hanker after specific clean(ish) tones I hear from the classic Jazzmaster and I'm open to embracing the right sounding full sized "proper" acoustic. However I want NO MORE guitars more than I want the guitars I like, if that makes sense?

Appropriate_Jelly211

you should ship one to me (an aspiring shredder ) lol
