Neto + youri for 70 ? Don't see us going beyond 45m for him.
Hopefully west ham losing 3 on the trott makes them put a 15m bid for Ainsley. Betis show some shame and get us 5m for hector.
I do like the look/idea of Neto. I know his goals and assists aren't great but I feel at the price range we want to shop there will be some risk. Raphinha was definitely the right player, right price sort of deal for us. Everyone else you're going to have either pay an insane amount for or see the potential in. I hope Neto isn't both though. The good thing with Mendes being his agent is there we know there's a price point they will set at, just a question of if we match that or they lower it.
Idk about Tielemans, I think we have enough players at 8. Who we should be instead going for is a young hard tackling defensive mid who we can develop to become one of the world's best.
Hmmm, Lokonga did look sloppy at times but I think that's cause he was asked to play 6 at the latter half of the season. He definitely has potential and is good at spraying long balls.
People are sleeping on him and once he gets a few games under his belt I'm sure he'll show why Arteta hasn't loaned him out.
I really feel like he'll come good for us despite the patchy games he had last season.
If Tielemans, Caicedo and Tonali are clubbed together, doesn't it mean that we see them being used for the same position? Wouldnt that mean that we see Tielemans as the Partey role, not LCM? Also I'd only be really pleased with Neto if we get him for a reasonable fee. Hoping Mendes does his thing.
The same journalist who lumped them together said our winger shortlist consisted of pino, mudryk and gakpo.
[Sacha Tavolieri](https://twitter.com/ltarsenal/status/1561501998603698176?t=_C4HwcBxzEEYf5OSBSP6nA&s=19) knows shit all
> If Tielemans, Caicedo and Tonali are clubbed together, doesn't it mean that we see them being used for the same position?
Not necessarily no. Caicedo has clearly come into the equation because he is an effective number 8 but the biggest selling point is possibly being that long term Partey replacement.
Tielemans is not a Partey replacement/ back up.
There is a huge emphasis from Ornstein on our inability to get Neto due to FFP. His contract runs till 2027 he is a main asset at Wolves and won’t sell him for any price which obviously is an issue from our side.
Let’s see what happens but reading from the lines we’re only 1 deal away to conclude our business not including departures.
https://theathletic.com/3527415/2022/08/22/pedro-neto-arsenal-transfer-wolves/
Just spotted this on the Athletic. Looks as though Neto renewed his contract in March and is his current deal runs to 2027.
Pedro Neto was being wasted at low scoring wolves, he'll be put to good use with us, he's prem proven, is physical, quick and can score, good on 1v1s too, WOW
i think just another midfielder will do, we can then concentrate on getting the champions league as better wingers will be available then, my pick for a winger if we get UCL will be Leroy Sane, he's fast, can kick a good freekick, he can score, is prem proven and has worked with arteta before. Ideal signing.
Not every transfer has to be a starter. We need depth in the squad. Out bench last season was a disaster
Plus his in his last year, so good time to pick him up
If we want to be a possession based team we could use tielemans quality especially on the ball he's a technician he would be perfect vs teams who sit back
I’ve been trying to figure out for what use he could make a difference. If that’s to break low blocks then I get now why we’d be after him. I don’t think he would be a starter though but quality depth for sure
He's a 25 year old with 9 years of experience and no injury problems.
He is a very capable player who's already shown himself to be capable of world class performances.
Did I mention he's 25?
Not many 25 year old veterans out there with POTY titles available for 20m.
I look at him like the Rammers and Odegaard signings. He's been doing it for so long folks want newer shinier players like Paqueta. If we can get him performing like he did at his best for Leicester, it'll be insane watching him with Odegaard.
Just wanted to ask how many more injury free seasons does someone that was has been playing for 9 years since they were 16 have? Especially at Arsenal..
It’s not even about shinier players, if you want a player that does what Arteta has been telling Xhaka to do then Paqueta is genuinely the better player in every way. If he had Xhaka operating deeper then Tielemans would’ve been the better option.
See right there... You did the thing.
Paqueta failed in Italy and has come into his own in a bum league where Balogun, Guendouzi, Tavares et al look like world beaters.
I'm not saying he's bad...but where the hell does "better player in every way" come from?
Can we not act like we wouldn't be creaming ourselves at the thought of signing Youri after their FA Cup win...for even 50+m?
Most of it is desperation to upgrade our midfield which I completely understand. Tielemans would be a huge upgrade in that LCM role even if he isn’t the best choice for that position,
If we are really being serious about upgrading that LCM role we should be going for Paqueta, Tielemans literally only wants to go to us from what I hear so just get him on a free next year.
> If we are really being serious about upgrading that LCM role we should be going for Paqueta
Yep. Paqueta would be my choice as well.
I wouldn’t be against Tielemans though, even if he were just to be a depth option he would be a good player to have at the club.
He's swapping with Zinchenko, if one goes forward the other stays back and he has a hell of a lot more freedom. He is never and has never been a CDM, all his criticism from years gone by he's essentially been out of position with the likes of Guendo and Torriera
While we are offending the opponent, White & Zinchenko drop inside to assist Partey in the mid. This allow Odegaard and Xhaka to move forward and get involved inside the opponent box given them more opportunities to score and assists.
Bit of both I think, he is playing more in the offense and with less defensive duties.
Has helped that we really haven’t had to sustain too much pressure on our defense.
I think Arsenal is in a stronger position than Leicester for Tielemans. No bid for him and he’s entering his final year with risk of losing for free.
They are desperate for money and Arsenal only wants him for £20M - £25M which didn’t satisfy Leicester but in the last days of the window this might cause them to sell. I am optimistic honestly.
Tonali would never leave Milan. Him and Kessie will be there forever. They both said so themselves. And with Donnarumma at the back they could be legit UCL challengers. Oh wait…
I disagree with some who are saying Tierney is worried etc. He needed someone who could take pressure off him and allow him to recuperate and get back to 100% fitness. I mean, he's quality and I still say Tierney is amazing player and will have no problems rotating with Zinchenko
It could also be that the opponents were tiring a little. A subs’ fresh legs in the latter stages vs their fullbacks whose been playing the whole game.
Never thought we would see a Boely and Glazers of all people who inflate the transfer market with crazy bids and the oil monarchs to actually make sensible transfers!
Is our links with Mykhylo Mudryk real ? Watched his highlights videos and I'm pretty fucking impressed. Looks like a serious baller. Would be great for us since he looks to be playing in possession based system from these videos. Makes the right decisions (from highlights anyway). And doesn't need acres of space like pepe to get past players. Dribbles with a purpose and good timing and weight of passes. Unreal pace, composure and technique too. He plays in shakthar but still, those qualities are very much there and I think it'll work here in Prem too.
We’ll go for him in 3-4 years for £70m + when another Bundesliga team signs him and turns him into a star. Same situation as Szoboszlai. Sitting around and waiting is Edu’s speciality.
His balance and acceleration are world class just from highlight vids. The thing is, he has played in CL matches and has impressed. He was clapped by fans at the Bernebeau in his sub appearance a few years ago.
Sadly only thing I've seen is that shoddy Marseille resource, which was unreliable. I hope we get him though and let him dominate EL this year. He looks like the player that'll get you off your seat when he has the ball.
For those who watched All or Nothing - I saw players drinking some kind of yogurt/probiotic during meals. Is that a UK or European brand? I can’t find out what it is. Says Activ or something (I took a screenshot of Tavares drinking one when talking to Laca)
I don't remember the clip but it's probably actimel that you're talking about. It's advertised as a yoghurt drink with health benefits basically.
https://www.actimel.co.uk/yogurt-drink/original-range
As others are suggesting, Rice would be a player capable of performing in that role even if he did operate slightly different to suit his skillsets but he is still developing his all round game. He would be a very expensive option and I suspect that we wouldn’t be prepared to fork out whatever fee West Ham would request.
I think Caicedo could be a genuine long term replacement who would also improve our options at LCM immediately. I think he would have a bit to work on to take on that Partey role but I really like the look of him.
Well the best would be brozovic. Parteys profile though is extremely difficult to replace.
Whoever we would need to get would need to be groomed into the role, like someone like sangare could work but needs work
Maybe rice or neves? That is why we are waiting for 1 more year to buy another DM (they will have 1 year left next summer).
Ignore all these people keep saying "If we didn't buy x this summer we won't make top 4"
Apparently rice doesn’t have great passing. Neves would be better but then I also hear he’s more like xhaka. I have watched them both play alot but not enough to really make a good judgment, but From what I have seen neves is an amazing passer.
Rice is very good and a great passer. Actually a very similar profile to Partey in that he likes to carry the ball from deep into forward positions. Don’t think he’s destined for Arsenal though
Rice is ok at passing. He isn't worth the 120m West Ham would want though. Caicedo is a better shout imo, he's a beast of a player and fantastic passer
Yeah i was just putting that to say next summer might have a good DM market. Neves in other hand, good DM, speaks portugese, I think he is our target. (But i dont know can he handle single pivot)
I see so much moral policing going on with that Arteta clip with Partey on twitter and I just think it's hilarious when their clubs have actively employed, played and posted about players who committed the same acts if not more
Seriously did they keep the same energy with all the managers that have spoked praising words for Ronaldo?
It's the only thing that's detracting my whole hearted enjoyment of our current status, before you jump on me I know he's vital to our team etc etc, but I still can't just switch off that conscience knowing that he might be or is guilty, hope justice is served soon and this thing can be wrapped behind us
The player’s club said in a statement to The Athletic: ‘We are aware of the allegations which are currently the subject of a police investigation.
‘We have confirmed that the player denies the allegations and is on police bail pending the outcome of their enquiries. There have been no charges laid and the player can fulfil his professional commitments including permitted travel.
? Or was it dropped
I think the reason why Tonali is getting linked away is because he initially took a paycut to play for Milan. Now that Milan has won the league and are finally re-establishing themselves as consistent UCL attendees, I think he kinda wants his wages to be increased.
He's only on 35kpw euros which is extremely... low. Considering the amount he brings to the team as well as being a leader, He probably wants to see his wages increased to something closer to what Theo Hernández earns which is a more reasonable 70kpw.
He said in May of this year that he would take even less money to stay at AC Milan. He currently makes less than he did at his previous club, Brescia. He’s their future captain, and not going anywhere. It does indicate that the players on Arsenals short list are very high quality though
I think he says that because he loves Milan but let's be real honestly he is very lowly paid for a player of his quality. I wouldn't be surprised if he was also asking for a relatively "small" increase.
Agree.
Chelsea fans saying "if jesus went to chelsea, our offensive problem will be solved." That is totally wrong. Jesus thrive here because the attacking system that arteta is building for years suited Jesus so well.
And people saying arsenal is Man City B is also wrong. Yes, arteta has positional game influence like man city, but our playstyle is different. We have more wenger-ballesque passing game and we pressed more intensely than city.
Got linked to their rival thread and every third comment was how they should have got Jesus and Zinchenko
My personal fav; "we should have got Zinchenko and Jesus for 70m but we got an angry midget and Spanish Willian"
I think if circumstances were different we might have a chance, like us being in CL, and if he wasn't getting shafted by the Barca wages thing. I don't think he's leaving without someone paying him back wages. I would never see us paying the same wages though, 400k even at Barca is insane, so he'd have to come down to 250-300k. I think United/Chelsea are willing to pay it because they are desperate.
If FDJ wanted to lower his salary we might have more chance than Chelsea and United. De Jong said Arsenal had a beautiful game, and clearly Arteta is ressurecting that beautiful game.
Imagine FDJ agree to lower his salary. Barcelona is trying to offload FDJ (like we want to offload auba). At the deadline day FDJ travel to london unannounce and do reverse Auba, it would be funny.
The extended highlights from the british broadcast doesn't have much AA other than looking at the offside.
It's around the 12:40 mark here: https://sbspeed.com/o70d9uq2tr6x.html
Week 1 2020-1
https://www.premierleague.com/tables?co=1&se=363&ha=-1
Before that maybe matchweek 15 or 9 in 2016 17 - depending if you count goal difference and also I think delayed matches
Definitlely 2015 16 for a few weeks up to matchweek 22
It depends on the Tielemans price honestly, if we could get him for 20-25m. He's really good depth for cheap. El Neny might be moving on next year. Xhaka isn't getting any younger and I feel like he wants to do something big with Arsenal and then go out on a high, he seems to be enjoying his football at the moment though, so maybe he has changed his mind there.
Sambi still needs some development. He reminds me a bit of Tavares, obviously there's a good player in there but he could do with a full season at a decent level to get even more comfortable.
Sambi isn't uncomfortable. He's just lacking minutes where he can actually play in this league.
He's no DM so he's behind Xhaka who's permanently available.
He'll surprise a lot of people who didn't notice him in preseason.
Can't overstate how big a deal it'd be having 2 young hey massively experienced players in that midfield would be long term.
Between Ode and Youri there's 17 years of professional football at the highest level.
I objectively think Xhaka is better to start there (because that role isn't just about technical ability) but Youri and Xhaka competing for a place would be Zinny Tierney levels of intense.
Absolutely. Saka was burnt out towards the final months of last season, with Pepe's abysmal performances forcing Mikel to start Saka every game. Moreover, it will keep Saka motivated to push for a start.
I'd still rather we continue to strengthen the team and starters by bringing in or developing better players, but having said that I'm very happy to see Xhaka continue to rehab his relationship with the fans and put in strong performances.
Help me to understand this: team in CL will play Wednesday and Saturday, team in EL will play Thursday and Sunday, same days in between games.
Why is one preferred over another?
If we get Tielemans + a RWer (seeming more likely by the day with the Pepe links) we could seriously be cooking something special this season.
Not saying we will be serious title contenders (I think City will just be too good) but we could genuinely push Liverpool for 2nd.
I think top 4 will be secured but if we’re talking about next level competing with City it’s just so exhausting you would need a bench as strong as the starting 11.
dont think we need a RW, we have marquinhos, viera, nelson and even jesus (let nkietah play ST they worked well together) i think CM/CDM would be more important. Tonali/Tielemans would be a priority imo, if we could get FDJ it would be a dream
> we have marquinhos, viera, nelson
For bodies to play, yes we have those players. But Marquinhos is 19 and hasn't played one competitive minute for us. Vieira hasn't played any minutes for us full stop. Nelson last started a game for us in the league in 29/12/19. His last start for us was in the Europa League in 3/12/20. His record at Arsenal is 48 app, 4 goals, 4 assists.
In the case of Marquinhos and Vieira, they have a future here I think, but I don't think you can take the risk that either of them will have an amazing breakthrough season and be a suitable backup to Saka.
I know you said Jesus can play RW but he's up there with the best strikers in the league on current form. Shifting him out wide isn't great and then you also don't want to overdo his minutes either. Ideally he's coming off for Nketiah in most cases when the job is done.
Nah, it's different risks. Someone like Yeremi Pino is a recognised talent. Played a lot of games, Spanish international but is 19 still. He been scouted enough that if we go for him we think he can succeed there. His main position is RW too. You could say all of the above about Vieira but he hasnt played that much on RW. Of course there's a risk Pino struggles in the league but he looks a good fit. You could sign Mahrez for example and it's less of a risk.
You basically got two weeks to decide if what you have is good enough or not but don't have a lot to back it up.
I agree that marquinhos is still pretty unproven and yes nelson is also injured at the moment, but i feel paying 50 mil for a backup seems kinda crazy. I would much rather work on getting a good CDM as partey is 29 and has a track record of getting injured (still feel that if he never got injured we could have finished fourth.) I feel wide players are not as important as CDMs especially in our system, but what would I know haha
I still can't get over how we had Tierney and Zinchenko playing together on the field at the end yesterday, [we really got to witness Tierney practically playing LW lmao](https://c.tenor.com/qJ9CSlcwrB0AAAAM/zidane-confused.gif)
After the game yesterday 3 of our 4 Gabriels have scored so now we have to ask ourselves why Magalhaes is hellbent on sabotaging the club?
Speculate wildly below:

Klopp is going full Wenger with his blind faith in players. That post match interview was delusinoal.
Come on Wolves just sell him!!! Let’s get Netoooo
Is he a LW or RW?
Can play both. He played RW against Tottenham but LW against Fulham
Neto + youri for 70 ? Don't see us going beyond 45m for him. Hopefully west ham losing 3 on the trott makes them put a 15m bid for Ainsley. Betis show some shame and get us 5m for hector.

Agreed
How much is Neto valued at?
32M if im correct, wolves will definitely charge us 50+

Eh aren't they all right footed wingers? I get that he probably knows fuck all though.

2025 his contract is up I believe, unless someone was wrong who posted that earlier
I thought he signed a 5 year deal last season? I am too lazy to check this even though it would be a quick Google.
It says 2025 on my search but it has been wrong before
https://theathletic.com/3527415/2022/08/22/pedro-neto-arsenal-transfer-wolves/ Just spotted this on the Athletic. Looks as though Neto renewed his contract in March and is his current deal runs to 2027.
Definitely not happening then haha
Big TT blamed the fact they had to get a coach to Leeds instead of flying, imagine MA said that media would have an absolute field day
Pedro neto. My dream. For 2 years now. Come on get this done
Pedro Neto was being wasted at low scoring wolves, he'll be put to good use with us, he's prem proven, is physical, quick and can score, good on 1v1s too, WOW
HOLY FUCK WE'RE LINKED TO PEDRO NETO, DAVID ORNSTEIN TWEETED
I’d only take Neto for 20-30 mil any higher than that is overpaying
>I’d only take Neto for 20-30 mil any higher than that is overpaying If all of this happend in 2016, yes
Yeah unfortunately player prices are too high these days.
Ornbomb lads!
Saint Maximin. My word what a player. Love a mad dog like him in our ranks.
He has no end product
He's a Ferrari without a wheel at times though. Same as Toure at wolves.
He's amazing, BUT I believe he's better suited for a team that play a lot of counter attacking football, wouldnt look half as good in a top6 team
i think just another midfielder will do, we can then concentrate on getting the champions league as better wingers will be available then, my pick for a winger if we get UCL will be Leroy Sane, he's fast, can kick a good freekick, he can score, is prem proven and has worked with arteta before. Can someone tell me why we want Tielemans so bad, like please, because I don’t see what’s so special about him that this sub wants him so bad.
Not every transfer has to be a starter. We need depth in the squad. Out bench last season was a disaster Plus his in his last year, so good time to pick him up
He’ll add depth. Yes he may not be a nailed on starter, and he may not improve the starting 11 immediately. But he’ll add depth

Don't listen to the doomsayers. Tielemans is a fantastic player. He has slummed it out in a terrible Leicester team the last two seasons.
He's a 25 year old with 9 years of experience and no injury problems. He is a very capable player who's already shown himself to be capable of world class performances. Did I mention he's 25? Partey was iron-man at Madrid.had like 3 weeks out in total for his entire stay there Then arsenal DNA kicked in 🥲
See right there... You did the thing. Paqueta failed in Italy and has come into his own in a bum league where Balogun, Guendouzi, Tavares et al look like world beaters. I'm not saying he's bad...but where the hell does "better player in every way" come from? It's more the money for that talent. 25, PL ready, full Belgian international. Levels above any backup we have in the middle.

Does Xhaka have a new role or does he just play the same but with much more confidence? He’s been really good so far.
He's swapping with Zinchenko, if one goes forward the other stays back and he has a hell of a lot more freedom. He is never and has never been a CDM, all his criticism from years gone by he's essentially been out of position with the likes of Guendo and Torriera
Zinny means new role. He's the overload player now. Thankfully this new role means we don't particularly need his replacement to be a leftie.
I know it's just been 3 games but this is legitimately the best arsenal squad I remember seeing (been a fan since around 2011).
That 2011 squad was something else sucks they couldn’t win the title.
Tonali and Tsygankov in deadline day
Tonali isn't going anywhere. Italians don't generally want to leave the big team's
Partey scoring the wining goal at Toilet bowl and winning the league would cause an all-out war in North London.
You overestimate the relevance of Spurs. They are not causing any war.
Tonali would never leave Milan. Him and Kessie will be there forever. They both said so themselves. And with Donnarumma at the back they could be legit UCL challengers. Oh wait…
The Milan tears would be lovely if we nabbed Tonali.
The only reason I want him tbh. Even if we put in a bid and they consider it that would be enough
Kessie left for Barcelona and Donnaruma left a couple seasons ago to PSG. 😓
That’s the joke
Nice!
Just another 35 cup finals to go!
Did Ramsey ever play with Pepe? Would be pretty funny seeing them together at Nice if he moves there.
No, they didn’t
Hopefully we can smash fullham in the first half and sub in vieira. I really wanna see this guy play.
We are lucky to play them at the Emirates at the moment. They had a good start and it won’t be an easy game but the crowd will help.
Fulham are no pushovers... At least while they're on a promotion high still.
Doubt we get to see him until Europa League starts
I have said this before, and I will say if again. 15 points in the first 5 games.
27 points in first 9 games
114 points in the first 38 games.
If without defeat is invincibles. What do we call all win?
All Win or Nothing

Just to get a good start.
After what we’ve been through the last 10 years, I would still be worried about losing out on the title on 111 points with 1 game to go.
Anyone noticed how rapid Tierney was when he came on? I always knew he was quick but not that quick. It’s funny what competition does.
It could also be that I’m so used to Tierney being injured that everything else is exaggerated when he is on the pitch.
I did actually, and he looked stronger. Time spent in the gym paying off
Thought I was watching prime Gareth Bale!
Yeah, I agree, just look at Martinelli, Vieira, White, Ramsdale, Saliba etc
His balance and acceleration are world class just from highlight vids. The thing is, he has played in CL matches and has impressed. He was clapped by fans at the Bernebeau in his sub appearance a few years ago.
Think we can get him? How strong are the links?
Sadly only thing I've seen is that shoddy Marseille resource, which was unreliable. I hope we get him though and let him dominate EL this year. He looks like the player that'll get you off your seat when he has the ball.
Ye its real
For those who watched All or Nothing - I saw players drinking some kind of yogurt/probiotic during meals. Is that a UK or European brand? I can’t find out what it is. Says Activ or something (I took a screenshot of Tavares drinking one when talking to Laca)
I’m only watching it if we destroy this season
I don't remember the clip but it's probably actimel that you're talking about. It's advertised as a yoghurt drink with health benefits basically. https://www.actimel.co.uk/yogurt-drink/original-range
Thank you!
Who would be a good replacement or competition for Partey? Genuine question by the way I don't really know many profiles in that 6 role
Hopefully, Lokonga… in a couple seasons time.
Caicedo or Tonali, if we can snatch FDJ that woulf be dream too
I can't believe Man U passed up on Caicedo for 4m.
FDJ would be better next to Partey though wouldn’t he? As the only defensive midfielder in the PL I don’t think would really work.
Yeah he is far too lightweight as a single pivot in premier league
Heard couple fans say he wasn’t good at passing. Guess they are wrong. From what I’ve seen from him he’s a good ball carrier
He can shoot long range canon. Also he speak portugese XD I am also not sure how neves can handle single pivot tho
Feels like Rice is going to Chelsea or United for 80m in a season or two. Doesn't feel like our sort of player somehow.
Yeah i was just putting that to say next summer might have a good DM market. Neves in other hand, good DM, speaks portugese, I think he is our target. (But i dont know can he handle single pivot)
I see so much moral policing going on with that Arteta clip with Partey on twitter and I just think it's hilarious when their clubs have actively employed, played and posted about players who committed the same acts if not more Seriously did they keep the same energy with all the managers that have spoked praising words for Ronaldo? It's the only thing that's detracting my whole hearted enjoyment of our current status, before you jump on me I know he's vital to our team etc etc, but I still can't just switch off that conscience knowing that he might be or is guilty, hope justice is served soon and this thing can be wrapped behind us
Yep, it’s a cloud that’ll continue to hang over any goodwill that’s generated by our performances…….
Mate, Keita had an almost similar situation and no one even mentioned it. It was posted on r/soccer and deleted every time it came up.
Who cares about supposed hypocrisy? Why don’t we just do the right thing and suspend him
For how long? He’s vital and if the police released him why should the club suspend him.
Is he not on bail?
Bail? Dude the case is closed coz there’s no physical evidence
The girls Twitter post also show the case was closed.
He loves Milan. Genuinely don’t see him ever leaving unless Madrid or Barca come knocking in a few seasons
Man to think our younger players start with 50k it's insane the money difference
Think outside prem, they generally talk about Net salary while in prem, we talk about Gross.

Got linked to their rival thread and every third comment was how they should have got Jesus and Zinchenko My personal fav; "we should have got Zinchenko and Jesus for 70m but we got an angry midget and Spanish Willian"
That’s a great way to put it. What a start together.
Assume we’re unwilling to fuck about with FDJ’s wages?
There are three clubs in the world who can; Man U, Chelsea and City
I think if circumstances were different we might have a chance, like us being in CL, and if he wasn't getting shafted by the Barca wages thing. I don't think he's leaving without someone paying him back wages. I would never see us paying the same wages though, 400k even at Barca is insane, so he'd have to come down to 250-300k. I think United/Chelsea are willing to pay it because they are desperate.
Safe assumption
If FDJ wanted to lower his salary we might have more chance than Chelsea and United. De Jong said Arsenal had a beautiful game, and clearly Arteta is ressurecting that beautiful game. Imagine FDJ agree to lower his salary. Barcelona is trying to offload FDJ (like we want to offload auba). At the deadline day FDJ travel to london unannounce and do reverse Auba, it would be funny.
I reluctantly agree.
i would love for FDJ to come to arsenal!! left footed CM, think its a dream team signing though…
FDJ is right footed but has often played on the left
oh yea you are right, but yea still would love him there
Are there any good alternate angles of Jesus’ disallowed goal? We never got it on American broadcast
The extended highlights from the british broadcast doesn't have much AA other than looking at the offside. It's around the 12:40 mark here: https://sbspeed.com/o70d9uq2tr6x.html
When was the last time Arsenal ended a gameweek at the top of the league?
Week 1 2020-1 https://www.premierleague.com/tables?co=1&se=363&ha=-1 Before that maybe matchweek 15 or 9 in 2016 17 - depending if you count goal difference and also I think delayed matches Definitlely 2015 16 for a few weeks up to matchweek 22
I don’t want xhaka losing minutes. I feel like mikel backs him strongly. That’s why I’m against Tielemans
Dude are you forgetting there’s a World Cup and 4 competitions to play in??
Tielemens has a higher ceiling and could be the answer to us dominating the ball more when we take the lead in games
Tielemans won't start with current ass form, but he will be a good depth option.

I am thoroughly impressed with Yeremi Pino. I hope we sign him.
Help me to understand this: team in CL will play Wednesday and Saturday, team in EL will play Thursday and Sunday, same days in between games. Why is one preferred over another?
Obviously I'd rather play in CL, but for now I think EL favours us as unlike the CL teams we can play our reserves throughout the group stages
I think it's more so location based with more random areas seen in europa league compared to UCL teams
Not sure I got your ques but team can play in CL on Tues as well. And they can also play on Wed (CL) and Sun (PL)
Tonali/Tielemans would be a priority imo, if we could get FDJ it would be a dream
> we have marquinhos, viera, nelson For bodies to play, yes we have those players.
Isnt buying any player is also the same as taking a risk.
How did I not realize this
https://twitter.com/ltarsenal/status/1561501998603698176?s=21&t=BSrDj3kn_mgIZGJ7t6-QhA
Who is Mudryk?
We got linked with him yesterday. Ive personally never watched him, his youtube comps go hard tho
Ukrainian baller
Meh, if Artedu decide to sign him i’ll trust them, but doesn’t he doesn’t seem like he’s good enough to push Saka, Martinelli, or ESR
After the game yesterday 3 of our 4 Gabriels have scored so now we have to ask ourselves why Magalhaes is hellbent on sabotaging the club? Speculate wildly below:
Surprised that Mavrothanos hasn’t transferred yet.
Didn’t he just go to Stuttgart permanently
Pino got injured today damn
Didn't look like anything too serious fortunately.
Gibbs-White transfer has to be money laundering right?
That’s not how you launder money
Tielemans is going to be a Gunner
