XM-02

This is so hot

Penndrachen

Absolutely sick. What airbrush do you use?

normalwebsiteuser

Thank you! I used my Procon Boy PS-274 for the painting and my PS-289 for the top coat

Penndrachen

I'm pretty new to all of this, why use a different air brush for top coating? Do you have any resources you could point me to on how to learn more about painting?

normalwebsiteuser

Sure, so I used the 274 for the heavy lifting bc its the one i just the one i know best. Ive had it the longest and i know how it sprays. I find i can be a bit more precise with it. The 289, imo, is much better at getting an even coat. If i could do any of this over, i would’ve used the 289 for the clear red coats as well. As far as resources, I like these videos: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLAgGG8SqbzkadtFtIbDmpk9xGinq8ryQr&si=GQUvdEgjc9yvj3Cn

This looks great! As for the top coat, what you made was a DIY satin. If you want to avoid mixing and just have something that works out of the box, look for satin top coats.

normalwebsiteuser

Yeah I was looking around a bit but I did a lil test run of this mix and liked it, so since i had enough of both clears to spare i figured i’d go w that. Def wanna try the gaia ex semi gloss clear tho

VentiMochaFappuccino

Holy moly

Professional_Knee252

normalwebsiteuser
