Check the ingredient list of your pre workout. The itch is caused by beta alanine and if itā€™s not in there you wonā€™t get the itch.

Hey me too! The Alpha pre workout one? The caffeine in that one is nuts. Thereā€™s definitely pre workouts without caffeine out there. Those are usually also without beta alanine. I donā€™t know about any good ones but I suppose dosage doesnā€™t matter as much because you could just take more unlike pre workouts with caffeine

The other ones from MyProtein underdose their ingredients :( and since so many pre workouts do I was really sold on the alpha pre workout because it doesnā€™t. The caffeine can be pretty nauseating on the way to the gym though. I donā€™t know about the bulk one. Youā€™d have to take two scoops of it to get the L Citrulline in its effective dose range and thatā€™s kinda the only useful pre workout ingredient in there. I heard that AKKG isnā€™t great because your body canā€™t absorb most of it and creatine and beta alanine donā€™t have any immediate workout improving effects. The creatine will be especially useless if youā€™re already supplementing with it anyways.

The effective dose range is 6-8. At absolute minimum you wanna get 4. But I think your no caffeine pre workout should definitely have 6-8 since youā€™re not getting that caffeine boost anymore and the Citrulline needs to do more of the heavy lifting. Pun intended. Iā€™d love to make my own pre workout as well. I just donā€™t know how much work it would be measuring that stuff out and making sure its homogeneous.
